About U Drive Cover:

U Drive Cover Limited is an independent insurance intermediary wholly owned by a senior management team with over 50 years experience in the non-standard insurance market covering motor, commercial vehicle, fleet, household and motorcycle.

We welcome enquiries from customers with an accident or motoring conviction history as well as modified vehicles. We can offer up to 65% discount for ex company car drivers with an accident-free history or for households where there is more than one car. We also offer cover for any car from a Mini to a Ferrari and for all ages from 17 to 99.

U Drive Cover Limited was formed to offer customers a personal approach. We treat each customer as an individual and offer an excellent service. Coupled with our excellent relationships with major Insurers, this enables us to offer competitive premiums as well as the personal touch. For the convenience of customers we do offer online quotations and the opportunity to purchase online but we also feel that we can make a difference by listening to the customer’s individual needs.

The U Drive Cover Limited offices are based In the UK and are manned by staff that have many years’ experience in providing these products. We do encourage existing and new customers to call us as there are many rating factors that can influence car insurance premiums and we welcome the opportunity to listen to your needs. Our aim is to prove that excellent service does not mean that you have to pay higher premiums.

“I wasn't impressed by the way you did l chose a comprehensive insurance online priced at £112 a month , only to be told its no longer available after l have paid and surprisingly its still being advertised as available online.”

“I agree that some of their charges for changes are extremely high. Also during any cooling off period they are breathe consumer credit act by charging a cancel fee”

“Quick service, cheap, easy to deal with, but ended up paying a small fortune to cancel my policy, as I no longer needed it. Similar to most other customers. I guess serves me right for not reading the fine print. Never known this with any other insurance policy, so a bit underhand from the company”

“3 Stars is for my overall rating after 3 phone calls. All calls - there was a lot of office noise in the background . Todays call handler was very good and polite. But overall information not explained very well across all 3 contacts”

“I bought the cover. Documents were not sent until I called them. They wanted documents from myself and I sent them straight away. They have taken the money and now I received an email asking for the documents or they will cancel the policy. A third phone call required to solve it.”

“Had a few problems with the validation process on my insurance policy which I found incredibly stressful. Dan was very patient, calm and explained things clearly. I was able to get it resolved and the customer service I received was excellent.”

“Insurance price quoted on comparethe market was incorrect. After paying my initial payment, I was advised that the insurance cover would actually be an additional £1000 per year. This policy was subsequently cancelled. However, I had a positive experience with Jamie at U Drive cover who helped me cancel the policy, and explain how he could help me with the costs.”

“Having originally dealt with a trainee sales agent and disappointed with his level of service, I decided to cancel my policy, based on 2 factors: Quoted additional premium was not acceptable and literally being pressured to commit to the new cover by the threat of an increasing premium if i did not commit that day. Having sourced cover with another well known Insurance Company, I was able to pay slightly more than the quoted by U Drive Cover for a full 12 months and not six months which had left to run on my policy. Not Impressed!! However, today, I spoke with a fully professional agent by the name of Jamie Griffiths who dealt with my cancellation promptly and efficiently within a few minutes, had I spoken with him initially, I may not have needed to cancel my policy. Jamie is the guy to ask for at U Drive Cover and I highly recommend him. I now look forward to my No Claims Discount Certificate and the balance of my premium being refunded. Thank you Jamie. “The people we dealt with by phone were helpful and courteous but every contact was because the premium had gone up for reasons we had no idea about. The computer generated letters also give a heart attack and make you feel like a criminal, they keep coming even when the issue is sorted”

“Amy Ansell has provided a great service with me trying to sort out my change of address and insurance. Going back and forth on emails really appreciate her help. 3* in regards to the company but 5* in regards to the customer service I have received from 2 members of their staff”
