“Nice people to deal with but the website did not make it clear that they can’t cut Yale Platinum Ultra keys & that they can have identical codes to the lesser Yale Platinum keys which they can cut. As a result I wasted £35 as the keys they sent me did not fit as no refund was possible.”

Thank you for your review. The order placed was for Platinum keys to be cut; however, your cylinder is a Platinum Ultra. The keys are not the same, which is explained within our product listing twice. As the keys were cut specifically to the details provided with your order, they are a bespoke, made-to-order item. Unfortunately, for this reason we are unable to accept a return or offer a refund.

“Truly PVC were very good. They supplied my order on time. However, the 3 Star Yale barrel lock I purchased is hopeless. It is difficult to get the key in and out once you do get it in. Looking at the Yale site it would appear that I am not the only one to have this difficulty. I thought I would give it time as it might improve. But no, I have put the old lock back on as my wife just cannot use the new one. I bought this lock because it was a Yale who used to have a good reputation but not anymore. I put a smith and Locke one on my front door and it works perfectly.”

“I was looking for a new lock for my front door. (Yale) I had been into my local B&Q. They were really expensive. I looked for the lock on the Internet and found a similar one through the company, Truly PVC, I was really happy when I realised I was getting 2 locks for the price of one in B&Q. They are not carded Yale but they have Yale on the key and on the barrel lock. For door security Truly PVC are well worth a look.”
