“Product arrived in good condition and well in time. It was for a christmas present and the packaging was not discreet and now knows what he is getting for christmas. Around christmas time they should put plain packaging on items so when it delivered they don't know what it is.”

“All "looked" OK but the adjustable spanner now has me wondering - works fine in the nut/ bolt function but doesn't seem to work properly in pipe wrench mode. Jams up before full closure. Trouble is that I've jettisoned the plastic tray it all arrived in so Tooled-Up might not take kindly to my problem - we shall see!”

“I was a bit disappointed that the box for my item arrived quite damaged, as it is for a gift. It looks like it’s been dropped or stood on. However the item itself was fine, the price was very competitive and delivery was quick.”

“Ordered bulk 12 pack of strimer spools got 12 individually packaged spools, tons of plastic packaging was trying to avoid! Tooled up not helping save the planet!”

“Totally pleased with the Karcher steam cleaner we’ve bought and it was a great price from Tooled up but unfortunately the communication was very poor. I had no confirmation email (a bit concerning when you have spent over £1500). I rang up to be told one would come through which it did quite a while later. When I received a confirmation email it said to click for tracking info but instead this directed me to register for an account where my order wasn’t displayed. I rang and the receptionist said she would get me a tracking number and ring back, she didn’t so I had to ring again (the day of delivery) and scramble someone to sign for the item. Perhaps this is an isolated case but would put me off ordering again.”

“The item just arrived today, some time since ordering. It is as expected but was poorly packaged, in a large box with no inside wrapping to secure it. A week before arriving the parcel company delivered a receipt for the item and I suspect the item was meant to be with it. Had to spend time locating and ensuring it's delivery.”

“I initially thought that ordering from here would be straight forward, with them offering 24hr delivery if ordered before 16:00....however...!! Ordered a tool Thursday for Friday delivery to allow me to start a DIY project on Saturday. Waited in all day Friday to find out that the delivery had been in the couriers warehouse all day. Conducted an online chat with Tooled-up who said that it would be delivered on Saturday. Stayed in all day Saturday but again no delivery!! By this point, there was no need for this item and originally decided to reject the delivery and get a refund. However they were cheaper than others, therefore still accepted delivery, which was on Monday afternoon, hence only giving 3 stars in this review. So, don’t expect 24hr delivery, oh and when it comes, please look at the items. My item was only in thin couriers bag which was all scuffed and scratched. Luckily no further damage was done to the case. Will I order from Tooled-up again,.....probably not!”

“Ordered the Ryobi drill on Monday evening for delivery Wednesday however it did not turn up till Thursday lunchtime. Not impressed with the delivery service.”

“I had good responses from customer service when I phoned but for some reason it took 3 days to pick my order despite being told it would be the next day. Otherwise price good product delivered in good condition and works great”

“Happy with the product and Tooled-up but not with the with delivery service DHL. It wasn't delivered at the time specified, DHL didn't follow instructions of where to deliver/leave it and the box the product was delivered in was really badly damaged, with the item hanging out of the top. Luckly the product did work. Hoping no long term lasting damage done to the item. I'm just disappointed by the delivery.”

“Noticed address on confirmation was not complete, so telephoned and assured full address would be given to courier. Information was not given to driver and could not deliver. Disappointed as had to wait in a second day. Product was as described and pleased with it.”

“Decent products at a good price, but one star off for using 'UK Mail' for deliveries - they are bottom of the heap for couriers, depots in the middle of nowhere, no contact prior to delivery to allow redirection.”

“Brought the item which was itself good and well packed but rather disappointed about delivery time. The sale info did say up to six days but also said it was shipped by 24hour courier. I was hoping to get the item 24 - 48 hrs. The item took six days and having contacted customer services it transpires that tooled-up are taking a long while to get packed and sent and I'm paying premium delivery to mitigate a slow start.........”

“Supposed to have been delivered a week ago. Only after calling twice, did I finally get my item sent. To be fair the item in stock was damaged, but it should bot have taken 2 calls to get it sorted.”

“I ordered a lawnmower online from Tooled-Up where their website clearly said order on Friday for delivery on Saturday. I ordered mine on a Thursday, clearly well ahead of the deadline. It arrived in a battered box the following Tuesday. Very disappointed.”

“I have dealt with Tooled-Up now on a couple of occasions. The first time the order was executed promptly hence I chose Tooled-Up as my first choice when I decided to buy a pressure washer. My initial contact was by E Mail asking a question, for which I received a short reply from ‘Rosie Spray’, merely saying the item would not do what I wanted and work from a storage container (although the technical info from Bosch indicated it would). However not to be beaten I called the Tooled-Up sales office and received excellent service, prompting me to look at an alternative model, which I duly ordered on line. I opted for a delivery day, and waited in all day, sadly it did not materialise, but DHL attempted to deliver the next morning having texted me whilst I was away from home, and left a message to say they could not leave my parcel because I needed to sign for it. I am hoping it will now be delivered on Wednesday next week which is the only day that I can ensure I am at home all day. Overall disappointed but hopefully I will forget the experience when I receive my order. Regards Richard Ball”
