I did not ask for a refund. You didn't deliver the item, and issued a partial refund with no explanation. How can you expect me to write a positive review? If I could give you 0 stars, I would.

Advertised goods that's not in stock, then wait 3 weeks. Then the Postman doesn't know he's delivering sharp blades. When I need further, I will buy from click and collect. B&Q etc.

Not received my item as yet, tried to contact the supplier but the link didn't work. Not sure how I get my money back as there is no other way to contact the seller. I received an email with an invoice that was all in "wingdings" font so not any good for any information, tried to respond to that but not received any response.

More clarity about not stocking items you sell would help. 11 days delivery time poor.

Absolute rubbish. I bought a pair of gardening shoes and ordered size 10, my normal shoe size being 9 1/2 - 10. They wouldn't go anywhere close to fitting me and were much too small. You have to pay to return them plus all the bother of doing so. I'll just throw them in the bin and put it down to experience, I won't be buying anything else from them again. Mike Chandler

I bought some Town and Country gardening shoes. I ordered size 10 as my normal shoe size is 9 1/2 - 10. They are ridiculously small, not even close to fitting me. I'm just a normal bloke with normal feet but this is a joke. Can't be bothered to go to the trouble and expense of sending them back but I won't buying anything else from this company. Mike Chandler

Paid extra for the tool to be delivered on a certain day- ignored and left on my doorstep for two days. When I examined the tool ( hedge trimmer), it had clearly been opened and then repackaged. When I phoned to ask about these things fobbed off. Unimpressed.

I ordered a chainsaw that was too heavy for me to use, (I am in my mid seventies), and decided to return it the next day. I completed all the paperwork, and complied with all their requirements, paid for the return postage, and sent it off. No acknowledgement from Tooled-Up re receipt of goods, so I phoned them, and asked when I would receive my *FULL* refund. I was told that the full refund would be in my account in a few days. I received a partial refund, and they retained £7.95, which they said was the cost of the original *Outbound* postage, which was not refundable. I pointed out that under the 14 day "Cooling Off Period", they are obliged to return the FULL amount paid, including outbound postage, after which I was told there was nothing more they could. So I wrote to Jason Chance, Director, asking him to put this right. No reply, so I sent a prompt, and still no reply. In my final email to him, I sent 2 links re the Outbound Postage - one was a Government Guidelines For Traders, the other was a Citizens Advice link - both links clearly stating that the Outbound Postage has to be refunded under the 14 day Cooling Off Period I also stated that I needed a "Letter Of Deadlock" from him, to escalate the matter to my Bank (a claim under "Section 75, Consumer Credit Act"). All I received was a polite, to the point, reply, essentially saying "tough" So, I submitted a claim to my bank, (a very simple process), and within 24 hrs, my bank account was credited with the money I was owed. Credit to my bank, but as for Tooled-up & Mr Chance, what a shambles company - I wonder just how large their revenue is from the monies they withhold from customers who are not savvy about Consumer Rights. What a way to run a business!!

Shocking customer service. Tried to call the contact number atleast 15 times over the course of a few days and only answered once. My order took almost a full month to come leaving me without what I needed for my job. Would not use again

The box containing the drill arrived in a sealed bag. It was clear that the box had been opened before shipping. Whovever opened the box did not attempt to make a neat job of opening, just ripped the packaging to get the factory seals off. It is not clear if anything was missing since the drill was there but not sure what else should have been in the box. There was a double ended drill bit in the box which was not useable without a holder so not sure why it had been added. I expected to receive a new drill in a factory sealed box which was not the case here. Very poor and will not purchase anything further.

Currently waiting on the manufaturer to send out replacement parts that fell out the damaged box in transit. If I had known it would be sent via DHL I would have bought if from somewhere else.
