“Very pleased with my Gardena lawn mower + grass catcher, both items arrived on the day I asked for. The grass catcher came without assembly instructions but I guess that's the manufacturer's fault rather than Tooled-Up and soon sorted via the internet.”

“Ordered a nice Rip saw blade for my circular saw and all was good until the package didn't get here on the day/s it was marked as coming..... I laft it a full day and then made an inquierery and I was told the seller was sorry my order had not got here and that another saw blade/package was being sorted and dispatched... This came through as a 'new item' with tracking through the Post Office, so I just thought it was all good again and 'back on track'..... This morning....another full day later, and just being a bit curious,.... I decided to click on the package tracking that had come through and had not 'moved' ?? !!... it was being dispatched ?? I then decided to have a look on the Post Office tracking number that was listed but that just said the tracking number was unknown ??.... At about noon,.... the package was delivered by a Post Office van with no extra message or 'paperwork' ?... I am obviously very happy the saw blade eventually got here but there seems to have been a bit of a 'mix up' somewhere along the line. No real problem ;-)”

“Great product, good price, unsatisfactory packaging! Arrived with just 2 x plastic straps around the original box, no additional packaging therefore product on show for all to see. The straps had simply cut into the box when repeatedly lifted, moved during transit. 5* review if you packed it better!”

“Great store overall. I think, they have the best search of all online stores I've seen so far. Crazy selection of tools, one can order everything from one place. When ordering from other places, I often have a problem that eone shop has the tool, another one sells a battery, and a third one has good sets of accessories. Tooled-up seems to have the best selection of everything at the same time. I ordered 20-ish items in total over several orders. Everything arrived just right. Nothing was mistaken/ damaged/ unfunctional. Some ideas for improvement: 1) sometimes 9/10 items can be shipped next day, but the shipment is delayed because the tenth item is expected to be available in two weeks. It's especially frustrating when the tenth item is, say, a drill bit that costs £4, while the rest is a set of tools that cost £500. Guys, if I ordered an expensive chainsaw, I'd be happy to have it while waiting for a drill bit. 2) You have two websites, tooled-up and mytoolshed. Why though?”

“T-U is generally a fruitful source of powerd tools, often at slightly discounted prices, but it seems to have poor stock control in some areas. If a product is in stock, then it wil arrive qucikly, but otherwise it may prove a long wait. Better pre-order delay warning is really needed. Long waiting times for certain products seem to be sprung upon the customer with minimal notice (often just an anonymous auto-message with the new anticipated delievery date in miniscule-sized typeface!) and no compensation offered for potential inconvenience and/or loss on delayed but fully-paid-up-in-advance order fulfillment. It would also be better if a proper protective outer covering was applied to product boxes during transit. Relying on using the maker's own cosmetic package risks damage to it, when in many cases the customer would like to store the product in its original undamaged carton.”

“First time used, unfortunately mower blade ordered wrong type but customer service excellent when ordering correct one. Refund came pretty quickly and blade following day after ordering. Will use again”

“Product and interface fine. Company did say when ordered that it would be delivered on Tuesday. Was advised then it would be Wednesday when we were not in. Advised Wednesday morning that it would be Wednesday, went on to Courier website altered to Thursday and accepted as an alteration. Delivered Wednesday to neighbour but no notification through letter box or by email. Only found out by going on Courier website.”

“Good prices, easy to order and delivery was fast. I'm only giving 4 stars as the packaging was quite damaged and although Tooled - UP instructed that a signature would be required on delivery, the delivery driver did not knock the door (which I had left open) Driver just dumped the package in the open doorway and left. Fortunately the product does not appear to be damaged.”
