“Aftersales and ongoing customer service is appalling. The company did some damp course work for us in 2008. The course has failed and we want to claim on the warranty. They are going out of their way to not honour the work. Ironically, it was about £300 worth of work. We now want more damp proofing, about £1500.00 worth or work which we were prepared to offer to them whilst they sorted out the initial issue.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. Timberwise stand by our long term guarantees. As we have explained in previous communications, it clearly states in the guarantee paperwork that it is the responsibility of the homeowner to keep all documents relating to the work carried out safe. These documents are to be provided if any re-inspections are required or if the home is sold and passed onto the new owner along with an administration fee to transfer the guarantee. If this documentation is lost for any reason we are able to retrieve an archive a copy of these documents and supply to yourself for which there is an administration fee. This process is standard throughout our industry. We have never said that we would not return to the property to assess the areas of concern, all we have asked for is that you follow our clear re-inspection policy. Until a re-inspection has taken place we are unable to comment on if the damp proofing has failed. If you wish to proceed with the re-inspection then please contact us and request a copy of your lost documents and we will happy arrange for a surveyor to return.

“From start to finish everyone I dealt with was helpful & friendly. The work was done well, finished on time & the area was left really clean afterwards. Steve from the Leeds branch, did a great job & again was really friendly & helpful. Every time I needed to call the office the customer service was great there too. I would definitely recommend Timberwise.”

“We received a thoroughly excellent service from Timberwise in Sherborne. Timberwise treated the woodworm in our loft space and provided a friendly, competitive and efficient service from start to finish. Rachel in the office was a fantastic help and so efficient in getting everything done at that end. Steve, their surveyor was very efficient and prepared an excellent investigative report. Norman was our technician on site and he was very friendly, clean and quick. Please use Timberwise with every confidence.”

“Timberwise Sherborne: excellent value for money and highly recommended. They sprayed our house for woodworm and also gave us advice regarding treatment of deathwatch beetle. Both Steve (who inspected the property) and Justin (who carried out the work) were extremely friendly, informative and efficient, and a pleasure to work with. “Very happy with the service provided from the initial contact, always replied promptly to our emails and Neil came to do the quote promptly and gave us a full detail report. A date was arranged really quickly to do the treatment. “I called Timberwise with a dry rot problem in my dining room. Spoke to Jenna who arranged for Matt Hargrove to call the next day. Matt, surveyor, arrived on time, communicated well. Work was done by Neil (exposure and treatment) and Steve (plasterer) both arrived on time, were polite, friendly. work was neat and tidy, waste was taken away. Price was expensive but what we expected. From my experience I would recommend Timberwise.”

Steve Wade and John the plasterer were both punctual, pleasant, and very respectful of my home and everything in it, every home should have a man that can clean up after him self like Steve and john did.
