The E-training part of the course was valuable and I learnt a lot from doing this at my own speed.

Online was very straight forward.

e-learning works for most people but finding my own time to complete online was difficult

I found the practical training good and understood it. The e learning I felt was far to long and tiring. Would of been better with more practical and less on line! I learn and understand better face to face.

I really enjoyed the course, but the online part was a bit confused. It would be better if the online part can be avoided.

The training was good and I enjoyed learning the different positions such as CPR and using abdominal thrusts and backblows on baby and children and I'll know what to do when In the near future

Training day was well delivered and comprehensive. Overall it was a good course of study. However there were several online issues beforehand. The course was advertised at £20 cheaper than I was charged; and we discovered on the day that participants had all paid different amounts. My name was not on the list when I arrived at the training day, and it did not get corrected to my full name on the certificate after I sent an email requesting this (before it was issued). I couldn’t update my account info online myself. There are some inconsistencies in the online vs in person training info, especially with regards to pictures used online. The big green button inviting students to test their knowledge diverts away from the pages intended to further deepen their knowledge before taking the quiz; which is not helpful. It took me several chapters to realise I should not press that button first, which is pretty anti-intuitive.

Hi Rebecca thank you for your feedback. We experienced some technical issues with our e-learning during recent essential updates - fortunately these were resolved very quickly. To meet guidelines and deliver a high standard of training our course is clearly split into two different 6 hour training sessions. Therefore learners will find the e-learning covers areas of first aid not covered in the practical day.

The training was fantastic, albeit I’ve been contacted to write this about training that I did 3 years ago, but the office side of things is dire. They couldn’t even send me a certificate with the correct spelling on - chocking instead of choking which made it look like it was a joke/false certificate. Extremely unprofessional.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review our service. Unfortunately, we did received a batch of certificates with Chocking instead of Choking. I'm pleased to say that our learners where quick to identify this error and new certificates issued.

I haven't purchased any training since 2016. The training I had them was good.

The booklet given for reference in many ways bears no resemblance to the online training which was very disappointing.

Hi Marc Thank you for your feedback. The photos and content in our e-learning are in most cases the same as the ones used in our own Tigerlily Paediatric First Aid Manual. I can only assume that perhaps the trainer gave out a generic Qualsafe book instead of ours. I will certainly look into this.

The actual training on the day was excellent. Unfortunately I wasn't contacted to undertake the refresher course that I signed up for. I chased it up but no one got back to me. It should have been last July I believe.
