Very limited practical - the online learning does not work for me. I am a kinaesthetic learner. Also info on online training and answers in questions do not match up e.g. online training for asthma says patient sat down and leaning forward. On questions the correct answer was sitting down and upright.

I'm sorry to say but this was the most boring first-aid course I've ever been on. I found the trainers abrupt and rude not only to myself but to other people on the course as well. I explained that I had not long had a cataract operation and so therefore should not really be leaning over and would need to keep it to the bare minimum and the response I got was well then you'll fail! I will have to have my other eye done in six weeks time so trying to change to another date was going to be difficult so I continued and at the end of the course my eye was really aching. Into the bargain it didn't finish until 435 which is the latest a course has ever gone onto, we were never given the usual option of having less breaks and getting out earlier which I think many of the other learners would've preferred as well as by talking to them myself. Also finding it hard to locate the certificate it would be so much easier if we were given one on the day like they used to instead of having to spend hours on my laptop trying to get it then I've got to print it out and some people don't have a printer I think if you're paying nearly £90 for a course that is now only half done with trainers the other half online, you've made a lot of savings and yet there was no coffee or tea and biscuits which always used to be free and available on previous courses that I have attended. So I'm afraid I wasn't impressed with this course at all the last course I also did with yourselves and it was much much better I think when I need to do another one in three years time I may see if I can do the course with somebody else after this experience

I am beyond grateful to Benito Gabriel and his team for their exceptional work in helping me recover $124,000 from a scam platform. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment were evident throughout the entire process. They made sure I was informed and supported every step of the way, and thanks to their efforts, I got my full amount back. I highly recommend Benito and his team to anyone in a similar situation—they truly deliver results. 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 —𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥𝟒𝟒𝟗@𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥.𝐜𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐀𝐩𝐩 —- +𝟏 (𝟓𝟎𝟓) 𝟒𝟎𝟐-𝟎𝟕𝟏𝟒

I had a fantastic experience working with Benito Gabriel and his team. After falling victim to a scam platform, I was left feeling helpless. However, Benito and his team were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and persistent. They guided me through the entire process, provided regular updates, and ultimately helped me recover all of my money. Their dedication and expertise were truly impressive. I’m extremely grateful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone in need of similar assistance. 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 —𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥𝟒𝟒𝟗@𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥.𝐜𝐨𝐦 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐀𝐩𝐩 —- +𝟏 (𝟓𝟎𝟓) 𝟒𝟎𝟐-𝟎𝟕𝟏𝟒

If I were to offer a rating based on the practical element, it would be 5 out of 5. However, I am lowering my score substantially because of two elements: 1) The online learning piece is dated and not very interactive. The videos can be watched at higher speed which may seem great, however, the page will not allow you to move forward until the full time (the original time) has elapsed. A waste of time in my opinion. 2) I caught a nasty bug a few days before my practical session. I got in touch to ask if I could move this given how I felt and I was sent a very "clinical" response quoting the refund policy saying that refunds are only offered if cancellations happen a minimum of one week before. I was then told that the policy is totally fair and basically nothing else. Forgive me, but I do not think it is fair to treat a situation like this as something like wanting to cancel for other types of reasons. I would suggest offering a degree of flexibility when we are talking about illnesses. I understand there are policies in place but surely there should be some flexibility when it comes to this type of scenario. If that is not possible, at the very least, do not write an email in that way (specifically saying how fair the policy is) and show some empathy.

Very informative and quizzes are engaging however after every page you need to wait for a timer before you can skip to the next page. I understand this is to encourage everything on the page to be read but waiting for the timer is infuriating and a waste of time.

It is 6 days since I have completed both the e learning and practical but cannot access a certificate, I need this for Ofsted. Not informed parking was free, so paid at machine only to find once in building we did not have to pay so £6 wasted. Not informed that lunch could be bought on site. Training room did not heat up even though a classmate did turn it up. Training room not practical as trainer had a few IT problems that were not her fault.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear of the inconvenience at the hotel. We do recommend you bring a packed lunch and drinks along to your course as stated when booking online. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee there will be soy milk at the hotels. Kind regards, Tigerlily

The online training was drawn out with easy questions and an extra easy assessment at the end. The whole thing seems to be for children, this doesn't seem like a test for adults.

Lady on help desk very unhelpful I said I was having problems she did not listen and kept telling me to follow instructions that did not exist . I found the whole experience very frustrating and was not listened to . Some of the dragging down of answers into boxes was not responsive and often caused more issues with time.(especially the section with the Poisons in the correct bin ) I have coordination issues and it was not user friendly. The layout should be done better If I pressed the wrong arrow it was hard to get back to the place I was at Some of the writing did not fit the box when asked to reveal text , I am using iPad and not everyone has a laptop Your comment box did not allow me to type in it so had to do this on this review instead Your helpline is only during work hours and we were asked to do this course in our own . Your calls should be open longer how can you help otherwise I am disappointed and unhappy this experience was very hard and stressful.

There is a lot of improvement to be made for this course, especially for the price. There should be course material handed out on the day and a classroom assessment to ensure we have performed the first aid correctly.

This course covered the basics in both practical and theory, but the tutor told a lot of personal anecdotes too that were irrelevant to the course and time consuming. She was however very passionate about the course and her subject matter, and ensured we understood the practical thoroughly. It was not made clear that the car parking was complimentary in the email from Tiger Lily, or the venue on arrival, and after paying £20 unnecessarily and no one accepting responsibility, it left me feeling very disappointed and cross.

I was disappointed in the organisation and content of the training. I am early years and this predominately covered KS3+ albeit information was fascinating to know. I felt the reaches was sturn and didn't explain herself well for activities and seemed frustrated with us when we looked confused. I felt there was an awful lot of case studies which were good to hear about however i would have liked to know more about what to look out for from the child directly.

Hi Tanya thank you for your feedback on our course. The course content is set by the Department for Education and monitored by Ofsted - it therefore covers first aid principles and practices from birth through to pre-puberty (around age 8/9) so incorporates both early years and KS2 . Many of those working in childcare will be caring for very young babies through to older children such as childminders, activity groups and teaching staff.
