“Although i havent yet worn my new pair of wingtips on an outing i'm happy about the way they fit and quality. They are top quality and aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend these shoes. I'll coming back to Thomas Bird in future to add onto my shoe collection.”

“Very poor customer service had 3 pairs no issues before. Most recent pair purchased in May have torn on top leather and all they are willing to do is sell me another pair for half retail price. Very poor will never buy from them again. You get what you pay for will stick with big name brands in future!”

We always try to help customers where we can and we can see there is a manufacturing defect. In this case when we inspected the customers shoes, we felt they were badly worn, the heels were worn down through the rubbers into the leather heel so couldn't be easily repaired. It's always important to replace worn heel rubbers before further damage is caused. We offered a brand new pair at half price as a gesture but sadly this was not accepted. Our reviews are important and mostly positive which we will strive to maintain.

“I enjoy the brand very much and have already acquired six pairs of various styles. However, the very last brown ones happened to be of lighter colours than advertise on the site. On the whole absolutely satisfied!”

“These boots are amazing. I recommend getting a shoe horn, because they are designed to fit very snug. It requires a bit of finesse to get them on without one. They fit like a glove, and are absolutely beautiful.”

“These shoes have lasted only 3 months before two holes have appeared in the sole of the right shoe. Very poor and very disappointed.”

Good evening Jonah, I'm very sorry to hear you're not happy with how your shoes have worn. The all leather soled dress shoes we offer are reasonably hardy, but they're not as durable as our combination half rubber / half leather shoes like the Benson style we offer. “This boot is amazing. It's a little hard to slip on, but fits like a glove. I would recommend getting a shoe horn. The boot is designed to fit very snug and requires a bit of finesse to slip on without one. This boot is beautiful.”

“This Vincent harness boots look and feel amazing, in sneaker I’m about 41.5 or 42eursize or 8.5/9 USA size slim foot, Thomas bird recommend for me to size up instead of down, I usually size down for a dress shoe, I’m so glad I did go up because they are snug, I probably would have managed, but I managed to put a very thin insole which is great because this is completely all leather, usually luxury brand just line everything with leather no cushion in the insole, the shoe is a 1:1 to YSL harness boot same quality, it’s crazy, so happy I found this company, also they are quite light for a boot and the leather is buttery soft and front upper and heel are reinforced, just wow!! Get a pair that’s it!!”
