“I love that you have such a vast selection of wool ,however,it is quite expensive if you only purchase one ball of wool ,postage costs are more than the wool ,but a super site for knitters who need larger quantities at reasonable prices”

“Wool (majestic white aran) was discoloured and not nice, was told to return as pack hadn't been opened, now I'm struggling to get any contact with anyone regarding my refund after returning the order 2 weeks ago, no response to email, no phone number no live chat option. Really really unhappy, used to be my go to place”

“I buy wool for my elderly mother who knits hats for the Seaman's Mission and have got to say how pleased they have been with them. Keeping many a head cosy and warm thanks to the great quality of wool, value for money, and not forgetting the Excellent service, love the communication. Fantastic family-run business that we will continue to support.”

“Efficient delivery. Good value. Yarn was needed for a project to provide garments for children from families referred to the Salvation army by social services. The aim is to give each child a hand knitted garment. The donated yarn was grey and so I purchased the yarns from Wool Factory to supplement the colours to knit bright garments that children would be proud to wear. Thank you Wool Factory”

“I'm always pleased with the products I have bought from the Wool Factory. But I think the website is a nightmare! It takes ages to find what you want, when you click for more details you don't go back to the place you left and a number of other 'niggly' things. It just seems like it's not been finished properly and maybe done in a rush.”

“My order came fairly quickly with a jolly note telling me how important my order was to them, but one of the large balls of Aran was full of faults. All 400 grams of it. I know it’s not The Wool Factory’s fault, but it’s their legal obligation to put it right. I emailed, Instagram DMd and contacted via their website. No response to any of my messages. They do not accept phone calls I was halfway through a customer project which had now been delayed nearly ten days. I eventually got a reply and an apology and the promise of another ball to be sent. This took three days to action and at time of writing I’ve not received it. For all these reasons I cannot recommend this company.”
