“Paid extra for quicker delivery. That didn't happen. Emailed they where no help basically told tough luck it will arrive eventually.”

“Delivery okay but very dissappointed with the quality of the slate grey wool, it is so thin I am having to use it double to get the tension needed, I hope the other colours that I purchased will be of a better quality, I only bought it based on the 5 star reviews on the website”

“Very disappointed as I assumed I had ordered 4 ply baby bonus mint to knit for baby grandchild. However I received butterscotch dk and order and invoices appeared changed. I know I hadn’t ordered this by mistake as I specifically wanted mint in 4 ply. Won’t be ordering again in case wrong colour sent again”

“I have still bot received my order which was placed 2 weeks ago! I have not had any more updates after being told that the Royal Mail tracking service isn’t working properly. Not happy with the service and might have to ask for a refund if I don’t receive my order this week.”

“I ordered the yarn cake ( Crochet) for a gift. It looked beautiful on the page and it said it came with ribbons and wrapped in cellophane. It took over a week to come so missed the birthday and it was in a large box with no protection so it was on it side. it was wrapped in bubble wrap all ripped. The cake stand is bent and broken, It is tied with white yarn and thin little ribbons nothing like the picture no cellophane. The birthday message was wrong and just on a bit of paper obviously printed out. Disappointing really. Currently re-wrapping it to make it look good”

“I found this website as it offered digital gift certificates which worked well as my sister wanted some items knitted for her and was able to buy a certificate for me to complete the job! Excellent choice of yarns and accessories. Items are well packed in a cardboard box and dispatched quickly. Cannot complain. An update to this is that I required a re-download of a pdf pattern and have asked twice by email and once by message on the website and as others have noted, no response. I have also phoned and the voicemails are full, so I have downgraded my rating accordingly as far as customer service is required.”

“I placed my order on October 3rd, it wasn’t dispatched until 11th (no reason given for the delay until I contacted The Wool Factory). So 19 days after I placed my order still no sign of my wool and no response to my second query. All of which is very unfortunate because the choice of yarns and patterns at a decent price was very good - but I’ll not be using the outlet in the future.”

“I have always been happy with past service however, this time it fell short. Having placed an order, I then went shopping and found exactly the colour wool I wanted (I was dubious ordering this colour online) I sent an e-mail within an hour asking for it to be removed from my order, 3 days later my order was dispatched including the items I asked to be removed. I sent another E-mail. Neither E-mail was responded to. Wool factory has lost a customer through appalling customer service”

“This item was delivered very quickly but I did not realise that the gold colour did not go right through the whole ball and the gold colour was quite random.which was not what I was hoping for. I did not realise this tlll I started useing it so I was quite disapointed.”
