“Contents: All the goods arrived in working order except the Raspberry Pi Power Supplies. The earth pin does not have the end-chamfers all the way to the sides, therefore have a step and a burr protruding around the edges. So plugging in to certain sockets was impossible. As the earth pin is made of plastic it dosen't take much filing down the edges, (if one has a file). Delivery: Not the Pi Hut, 'per se', but DHL messing up my daily schedule by showing on their tracking website; "it will be delivered Today" (Monday), then "Tuesday" and then back to "Monday". I'm assuming The Pi Hut maybe got involved at this point. I prefered Royal Mail Tracking.”

“My ordering experience was fantastic, the delivery speed was very very fast and everything arrived in one box which I like as often boxes from other places are too big and wasteful. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars was because my UPS came with a battery that has already lost capacity. I have only charged it three times to test the maximum capacity and out of 1000mAh it only gets 845. This could just be a QC issue with my specific unit. Otherwise fully happy!”

“Pi5 arrived within 2 days. Brilliant packaged all 7p and running same day. Only minor comment was that I orde4ed the fan and heatsink, not realising the case came with its own fan and heatsink. Apart from that, perfect”

“The PI 5 that was part of my order is, like all previous PI computers, absolutely amazing. The only issue I have with the downloadable OS is that sudo is wide open by default, but that's just a personal preference of mine. Easy to remedy. The other part of my order was a Shelly Gen3 and a Shelly temperature sensor. The documentation is weak and as far as I can see the only way to do most things is to use the Shelly app, which is not what most Raspberry PI developers are likely to want to do.”

“I can't fault anything in terms of quality of product, speed in which they came or the overall experience of shopping with Pi Hut. My only concern was the protection, or lack of, when the parcel arrived. There was nothing to fill out the box so when shaken you could hear things getting bashed around. However, saying that, everything did come in one piece and worked as expected - just wasn't what I expected when i opened the box, and made me cringe a bit,knowing how postal services can handle parcels... Would recommend.”

“Dispatch was slower than I had hoped - I ordered Sunday, and the order was dispatched Tuesday at 5pm, but royal mail was very speedy. All contents were loved by my son.”

“Always a great experience ordering from the Pi Hut, and the descriptions are very informative. There is a lot of plastic waste in the packaging though, with every item (even in multiples of the same item) in their own plastic bag (although I appreciate why this on the distribution end).”

“The kit arrived with all the parts very quickly and at a good price. I just bought this on an impulse and was hoping to get instructions for what to do! In fairness, the instructions were extremely easy to find online, but I was a little surprised when it arrived with just a bag in a box. Also in fairness, I bought this on a whim in a hurry, so if the instructions were on the webpage when I ordered, my apologies.”

“The Pi 500 desktop kit arrived quickly and was very well packaged and ready to go. After giving it a quick try I realised though that it wasn’t for me as I felt I’d rather have just the Pi and then connect my keyboard to it wirelessly - and although the Pi500 keyboard is handy, the option to connect a wireless keyboard doesn’t exist. The Pi Hut very quickly processed my return and I’ve bought a Pi 5 now with some accessories. The only thing I’d add is that the very short cable on the power supply is quite off putting. For home users typical power connections are closer to the ground and so a little bit of wire is helpful so that power reaches comfortably to everywhere on a work desk. ThePiHut should consider providing power supplies with greater cable length.”

“Super swift notification on stock availability and super swift delivery! Only niggle is that 2 items I was waiting on were notified in stock hours apart so ended up being in 2 separate deliveries. Otherwise very happy with the service guys n gals!!!”

“I ordered three items on a Monday evening and was told immediately the order was confirmed and could not be cancelled. Not a problem, until I found the items at home that I had ordered not 30minutes later. Typical. I went to cancel the order then and discovered that PiHut would not let me cancel as it was being packed. Late on a Monday evening. It arrived two days later, and I promptly ordered a Returns code and sent it back. Cost me less to send it back than the p&p to send it to me. Still, I was reimbursed and everything happened in the way it was described in the terms and policies. I will have to take better care of my existing Piware so I don't order bits I don't need in the future.”

“I ordered an nvme base and a pi zero 2w. Both of them came packaged and arrived quickly. Everything worked although pi zero 2w could come in a small box.”

“The usual great experience shopping with PiHut. Quick delivery, and good item description. Only minor downmerit (hence loss of a star) was the really high postage of £3.90 for such a small item (pi 5v fan). I'd be quite happy to receive low value small items via standard post.”
