“The website showed that 2 types of memory were needed on a Raspberry Pi 5, however it only has one SD card socket, so can only do this if you get a USB adaptor or similar.”

“Royal Mail messed up the delivery. Package wouldn't fit through letterbox, so failed on day1. I arranged a redelivery on their webform for day3. They acknowleged this, then attempted to redeliver on day2. Which obviously failed. Their webform had no way of rearranging again. So I was in a Schrodinger state of whether another redelivery would be attempted on day3. I travelled down especially, just in case, and it was finally delivered. Not happy with them. Also cannot rearrange another address outside the stated postal code area, which, as a nationwide delivery service, is appalling.”

“The product I received varied from the product i ordered. An undocumented change by the supplier was given as the route cause for this. The team at PiHut (Billie and Jayde) handled the return and refund very quickly hence this isn't a one star review. I've shopped with the PiHut several times and this is the only occasion on which I have encountered an issue.”

“Arrived ok with assembly instructions on the web. Pain 1: It does not have space for a standard ribbon cable to access the GPIO's. To use that you have to leave out 2 posts so not as sturdy as it should be Pain 2: Get to the end and there are 5 washers not used. I checked - there is no mention of where they go?? Pain 3: Assumes this is a first install of the SSD - not for me Pain 4: The cable from the NVMe base is very difficult to stretch to the new, higher Pi. Maybe OK if all new but not if been used and shape set in. I had to take it all out again and plug in in a different way :-( All in all not a good experience.”

“Had what I needed and delivered quickly. However, your address selection system on checkout didn't accept my address correctly. I place the order and immediately sent a message to you requesting it to be changed. You customer service rep, Jayden, told me you can't do that for me but you do have a returns policy.... but I'd have to receive the item in order to do that! Thankfully the item was delivered albeit with the muddled up address.”

“Bought a gravity speech recognition module. Disappointed to find no data on this device with regards the UART interface either with or online! Spent a week sniffing the uart data for various voice commands and had varing data for same commends so have got nowhere. It seems strange that gravity have produced an excellent device but ommitted to provide a decent manual. Really disappointed. J Glass”

“Hey - Mistakes happen but wasn't exactly the best experience. 2 critical components were missing, frustrating there was no communication on it up front, there was no mention of this in the order when received, i chased support and they just immediately refunded it and said the parts were out of stock. There was no looking into alternatives and basically just said i'd have to order again, which is then more postage for me to pay. I pushed back on that and they said that i could order again and they'd refund the postage of the new order which is appreciated but it just felt like so much back and forth to get to that point, nothing was proactive and just left a bit of a perturbed feeling. Hopefully just a one off experience.”

“The products and pricing are great, the dispatch and postage was super speedy, but customer care was extremely lacking! The website or PayPal managed to input the incorrect road in my address and there was no way to edit the order after paying, so tried to contact support and their response was “we are too busy to go change it and you will have to let it get a failed delivery and return to us for refund” 10-12 days refund and the re order. Not acceptable. Luckily the road was a 15 min walk from my address and it didn’t fail to be delivered because there was the same house number on that address. Come on guys, this is 2025, get your address databases and/or website adjusted to be able to edit/cancel orders within a set time for ease.”

“very nice enclosure and working really well. only issue is when i screwed in the NVME unit, the golden support for the screw broke and had to struggle to remove it and screw directly to the chassis.”

“From PiHut side orders are fulfilled timely and accurately, but they picked DHL as their delivery partner and they are expensive and the worst. Misdeliveries, not many collection points, issues with releasing items, broken website, you name it.”
