“I like the Pi Hut, but I find the time taken to despatch items was very long. For example, I placed an order on a Monday, which wasn't processed until Tuesday, and then it took until Friday for it to be handed to the courier, who delivered it on Saturday. I think you can do better than this.”

“Delivery excellent but when I had a problem just got a canned message to contact the supplier of the board. If I’d bought a faulty product from a shop I’d expect them to replace it or be more helpful. Dissapointing.”

“The prices are higher than competing stores but there’s a wider range of products so I split my orders and only bought what I could only find here. There is no free shipping even for large orders. Items came without instructions causing me to incorrectly assemble my raspberry pi in a way that cannot be reversed without risking damaging the pins.”

“It was easy to order but the £1 item ( jack plug) cost £3.50 in postage which appeared a tad high. Grump aside the plug did not fit so it was either not sized correctly or I got the size wrong. I shall never know.”

“Spent 200.00 and it was faulty so sent back for a refund..hopefully will be processed quickly..I have re ordered..so lets see. Unfortunately I had the weekend in between so that delayed a response. Customer services was satisfactory”

“I will admit I bought the wrong part, but return process was easy and the customer service was speedy. The only thing u could comment on was the fact that you could not cancel an order before its been shipped as, in my case, I found out I could not cancel my order even though I realised the mistake less than 10 minutes after ordering. Just a ps, you have to pay for the return shipping.”

“Two big bug bears: There’s no assistance for compatibility for beginners. If I pick an item or say I have a an item, I should have other option of ‘guaranteed’ compatible items especially if as often items are out of stock. Biggest bug bear is not being able to add to an order I complete 30seconds after I submit & I realise I’ve missed something. I get charged 2x delivery grrr. I’ve had to use Amazon (free delivery with my Prime) to order products on your site because I’ve Submitted before realising I need something else. Many of there errors of early submission relate to my AI Build assistant (now there’s an idea for you ;) missing an important point. AI Build assistant on PI Hut would make the process of ordering easier. I do web dev and a working POC shouldn’t take you a long time with an AI Web dev engine for pre-prod scoping.”

“The mouse mat is great. I’m disappointed with the usb C in line switch as it doesn’t work with the official power supply. It works ok with phone chargers etc but apparently it blocks some signal to it from the pi according to reviews on social media.”

“After continual low voltage warnings which for some reason started occuring with my existing power supply, I opted to purchase the official power supply, thus far all is good and no low voltage warnings which is what I would expect, however, my 3B is in a black cover and sadly only a white power supply is available with a UK plug. would have been nice to have the choice.”

“Competitive prices, prompt delivery, and I can see that there is a working customer service team. My only feedback is the delivery cost. I ordered two items, I appreciate one of them has a battery, it seems like I was charged twice for one order. I recognise that some retailers will not charge extra if you buy a couple of items in the same order.”

“Pi Hut themselves are pretty good, but unfortunately continue to use Evri. So I'm writing this review on the 8th of April following the "how was your order" email on the 4th of April for the order I placed on the 29th of March but then dispatched with the most incompetent and useless carrier known to man. I forgot they use Evri, and this experience remdined me, so I probably wont use them again until they stop. Indeed this review asks "Who made the delivery?" and "Was the item damaged?" with an air of enthusiasm that suggests they expect it might have actually arrived by now. Inded, I even *PAID* for shipping. This sort of 'we can't be bothered, you might get it sometime' is almost acceptable with free delivery but when you pay for a service you expect it to actually happen. But, of course, that's when Evri aren't involved.”

“My raspberry pi zero w arrived within 5 days but upon arrival, the delivery driver seemed to throw the parcel resulting in one of the ports being slightly bent. Other than that, the service was great just could've been faster and a bit more careful with the package.”
