I'm used to giving 5 star reviews, but not this time due to delivery problems associated with the switch of default from the Royal Mail to EVri. Although the order was dispached on time EVri hung on to it, so it was never going to be next day. On the second day I got three emails from EVri giving me different drivers and delivery slots and then a final email to say "Sorry" but it won't be delivered today, BUT IT WAS delivered by a different driver within the time slot. I raised a support ticket which has not been answered regarding this change and appalling EVri service and have had no feedback - this is the 2nd ticket that has not been responded to. Considering the amount I have spent over the years, I am very disappointed.

Ordered my first Pi recently here recently, a Zero with a case, adapter and micro-sd. Assembled the Pi into the case only to realise after there was plastic moulding inside the top lid of the case that slotted OVER the micro-sd card slot. If you don't happen to notice this and install the Pi with a card inserted, the card gets damaged. It's really not obvious this would happen and there was no warning to remove the card before installation in the packaging. I emailed support about this and they initially replied that there's some text on the website product page warning of this. I suggested there should be something included IN the packaging to warn users of this. They replied that they don't put a warning in with the product as it was 'better for the environment'. Unbelievable. Well now this micro-sd is e-waste. Lousy experience and I won't be buying from them again. I sent all the other items back for a refund and purchased from a competitor.

I have used PiHUt successfully in the past but on this occasion my experience was very poor. My delivery window was missed 3 times so that was 3 times i stayed at home waiting for several hours only to be disappointed. That is not an experience I wish to repeat and so far I do not have any explanation which confirms this kind of terrible delivery service would not be repeated.

The items were of good quality and at a good price. The delivery was on time but too expensive at well over £7 foe a single small package. It made the whole deal less competitive. I advise you to offer a slower delivery option with a delivery cost of under £4.

Unfortunately, in my case, the supplied item did not match the product description on the website, despite assurances that the description was accurate.

I ordered a few bits of kit including 2 pi zero 2WH and they arrived next day, but Pi Hut sent the wrong boards due to a bug in their website, which I demonstrated in a video.

I was left regretting a purchase recently - opting to 'save myself the headache' of having to manually fit and or solder a header unit to my purchase of a Pi Zero 2 W I found that the product was actually not fit for my use case (powering via common and recommended portable battery the PiSugar 3). The pre-soldered headers do not provide sufficient protrustion through the PCB to connect any form of portable power to the Pi Zero 2 W - when querying this with PiHut I was simply told that this is how the pre-soldered headers are provided (Thanks to an improved soldering process) and that I would need to solder my own if I wanted anything different. So if you want to save yourself one headache but potentially open yourself up to another - then consider your project goals and what other hardware you may be looking to use.

Most of my order was fine but you're push buttons are marked as 12mm when the button caps are more like 9mm. If you're designing something it is the cap size that is important, not the actual button body. When I raise this with you it took you a week to get back to me that the 12mm is the button body size and not the cap size. No appology, no oh sorry thanks for pointing this out we'll update our website to make sure no other customer will make the same mistake. Nope, you clearly don't care customers can order buttons based on unclear descriptions.

Wasn’t what I ordered, not as described, too cheap to bother returning

TLDR: Make sure your shipping address is absolutely spot on before confirming your order! Unfortunately, my auto-fill settings on my laptop amalgamated my current address with my previous one, which I didn't notice until after I completed the order. I contacted customer service within 5 minutes of placing the order. They responded within 30 minutes of placing the order, stating that there was nothing they could do apart from letting the package go due to the speed at which packages are "picked, packed and added to the very big stack of parcels". The customer service, whilst frustrating, was extremely prompt, which is why I've given 2 stars. As it currently stands, I'm waiting for Royal Mail to return the items to PiHut so that I can arrange for a refund and place the order again.

I'm returning the product. Surely this is for techies not for noobs. I have tried all the help articles but in vain. Maybe the product should say its not meant for laymen.

Several days after placing my order I received an email to say that one of the items shown as in stock was out of stock but as a gesture of good will I could have my postage repaid on another order. About 2 hours after this the remaiing order arrived before I had a chance to cancel the whole order. A part order doesn't allow me to build what I wanted to do.

Arrived but one of the little feet was missing. Also, there were no instructions for fitting the cover.

My order was for some small electric motors and mounting brackets. Unfortunately the brackets are far too big for the motors. I am surprised that this was not queried by Pi Hut before dispatch.

I built my own ground plane ariel that cost me £5 the ariel I bought off you extended my range by just 10 miles, Ibuilt it off a video on youtube, I was expecting a lot more, ariel is in the exact same position. Dissapointed to say the least. My advice would be build your own.

I had a generally good experience with the Pi Hut. Unfortunately Royal Mail lost my item and it took some time to recover them. Pi Hut customer service was not very helpful at all as i outlined the issue of the missing items and they told me to check Royal Mail tracking which at this point said my item was delivered (which i outlined in my support request message). The items themselves were good quality but the only reason i chose Pi Hut was because i could not find these items elsewhere at similar price and lower delivery fee. Definitely would recommend improving customer service.

Confusing website looked like the case would fit, they reccomended the upgrade, so i paid more. Only to receive a case and screen that were no where near a fit for each other. Then, when I point it out, it's my fault (obviously) and i get to pay to return the item. It's a shame as I am a big Pi fan and PIHut was there first, didn't goof and things just worked, or used to !

I ordered 4 items, but only 3 were delivered, and I could only use 2 of those - not great for my first PiHut order. The item that was not delieved was out of stock (though was showing as in stock when I ordered it). For the item that was delivered and which I could not use, I raised a very simple query (along the lines of, are two connectors compatible with each other) prior to the order but the person who responded to my query could not answer the query and it seems was too lazy to try and find out the answer (e.g. by opening a packet and checking), so I orded the item speculatively, and unfortulately it turned out to be the wrong part. If the person responding to queries had some very basic knowledge of the products being sold and/or a little bit of motivation to help then this would not have happened.
