Great products, let down by poor support

Thank you for the free entry into the lucky draw. I would like to add a coment regarding your delivery. I would probably purchase more from Pi Hut if the time base for delivery was better. If I select Evri which is one you use the delivery time is exteneded. I will not order from you using Evri agian. FYI : I order items from China which arrved quicker.

The package arrived in good time. However there were cables in the box and I will likly have to use. However there was no wiring diagram to show me how to wire the Eink screen to the pie. Nor any paperwork referring me to such..

Unfortunately Pi Hut have partnered with unreliable courier partners. I ended up cancelling the order after the item did not arrive days after the due delivery date with no updates given to when it would be. I used a different supplier that actually ended up being slightly cheaper and the item was delivered in 24 hours.

I've used the PiHut multiple times over last few years but two of my latest orders have been messed up in the same way that makes me wonder if there isn't something systemically wrong at the company. I have ordered, paid and items have dispatched but on arrival I find that one or more items I've ordered has been 'replaced' with something different. So I have to raise a return and promptly send the incorrect item back (at PiHuts expense) but on receipt of the return I get a polite but useless message that the item I ordered is no longer in stock and a refund has automatically been sent. I didn't want a refund I wanted what I ordered so now I don't have everything I needed to complete my project and I have to pay for delivery again. Once could be forgiven as a genuine mistake (items were very similar) but the latest balls up just feels more deliberate misleading of the customer. Caveat emptor

Unfortunately they use Evri for delivery and parcels routinely go missing for weeks. Mine is stuck in the depot for 5 days so far, and counting...

Two items were ordered independently on 24th November. Both orders were acknowlegded on the 25th. I received two messages from Evri on the 26th to say that they had received both parcels, and that they would be delivered shortly. Both were on 'Next Day' delivery. The first parcel arrived on Thursday 27th. The second parcel dropped out of the Evri system on Friday and may have been lost or returned. It was eventually delivered on Sunday 30th November. Neither parcel met the 'Next Day' criteria. I understand that this probably wasn't the fault of Pi Hut because we've had more than enough problems with Evri. Why does Pi Hut deal with a company like Evri when all they do is trash your reputation for good service?

I ordered a couple of Pi Pico 2 boards and while I am 100% satsfied with the product I found the delivery extremely poor value. Order took, best case 4-5 days and not for the first time. It even had a "Priority next day" label on the package as if to rub it in. Honestly disinclined to order from the site unless absolutely necessary (can't obtain the item elsewhere), particularly for smaller items.

I bought the AS5600 magnetic rotation sensor. Delivery and shipment were great but I'm very unimpressed with the product design. The magnet needs to be very close to the sensor to operate correctly but the Stemma QT connectors on the board stick up and get in the way of mounting it easily in some situations. Not recommended.

No matter what I tried (hours at it) it would not boot from the usb port. Constantly reporting, 'Fat Red failed 8737, init ram FJ-2712'. Bought it specifically to boot from my nvme m.2 drive via USB 3 port, as I had ordered the Hailo 8 26 tops Hat. I was told by Tech help at the PI Hut, I quote "This should perform no differently to a USB SSD adapter using an asmedia chip - it's just on a convenient PCB format instead of an adapter'. I am using raspberry pi's offical 45watt power supply. In the end I got an Orico M.2 NVMe SSD Drive Enclosure, PWM2-G2, booted first time and still running

I've .made a few orders from this store it's a bit hit and miss some times postage is prompt others it's not and don't phone it won't be a sweets and don't email for help unless you fall I to there tick box menu there's no help there

I'm used to giving 5 star reviews, but not this time due to delivery problems associated with the switch of default from the Royal Mail to EVri. Although the order was dispached on time EVri hung on to it, so it was never going to be next day. On the second day I got three emails from EVri giving me different drivers and delivery slots and then a final email to say "Sorry" but it won't be delivered today, BUT IT WAS delivered by a different driver within the time slot. I raised a support ticket which has not been answered regarding this change and appalling EVri service and have had no feedback - this is the 2nd ticket that has not been responded to. Considering the amount I have spent over the years, I am very disappointed.

Ordered my first Pi recently here recently, a Zero with a case, adapter and micro-sd. Assembled the Pi into the case only to realise after there was plastic moulding inside the top lid of the case that slotted OVER the micro-sd card slot. If you don't happen to notice this and install the Pi with a card inserted, the card gets damaged. It's really not obvious this would happen and there was no warning to remove the card before installation in the packaging. I emailed support about this and they initially replied that there's some text on the website product page warning of this. I suggested there should be something included IN the packaging to warn users of this. They replied that they don't put a warning in with the product as it was 'better for the environment'. Unbelievable. Well now this micro-sd is e-waste. Lousy experience and I won't be buying from them again. I sent all the other items back for a refund and purchased from a competitor.

I have used PiHUt successfully in the past but on this occasion my experience was very poor. My delivery window was missed 3 times so that was 3 times i stayed at home waiting for several hours only to be disappointed. That is not an experience I wish to repeat and so far I do not have any explanation which confirms this kind of terrible delivery service would not be repeated.

The items were of good quality and at a good price. The delivery was on time but too expensive at well over £7 foe a single small package. It made the whole deal less competitive. I advise you to offer a slower delivery option with a delivery cost of under £4.
