I had a great experience shopping with PieHut (even if shipping is still on his way currently). On advice maybe to improve your website : Make the driver-compatibility with Raspberry's products more visible for customers. For example, I was about to buy a wifi USB key and it's while reading the comment that I learned drivers for this product was outdated so I chose another one. Maybe it should be a good idea to improve this compatibiliy and make it easier to spot. just a rapid thought :)

Ordering went with more than a few hitches. Product is supposedly in the mail, not sure what I'm reviewing here?

My first order attempt was cancelled by the store. The second attempt went through and appears to be shipping.

Order delivered promptly, however I experienced a major failure during placing the order as I received a message at the first instance from PiHut stating that my order was still uncompleted , a subsequent order placed was also ignored, I was paying via PayPal. fortunately I was able to obtain the required items from Amazon.

I *love* everything about the PiHut EXCEPT the 'essential' items being foisted on me in the checkout cart. The cart is a place for getting business done - it's really horrible to have to scroll around to find your actual items. Bad PiHut

Sir or Madam, I write this in despair of some of your policies. I have just tried to order the new Pi Zero2 , added a couple of accessories and looked at some others. I completed the order process only to find that the Pi Zero was not on it but the "looked at" item was. I admit I was careless at the review stage as your order page kept demanding a phone number which you already had, so ended up with an incorrect order. I immediately looked to cancel entire order and resubmit correct one, you have no quick button to do this. Very poor system IMHO. I have therefore had to order the Zero separately incurring a second postage charge. Not Happy. All this comes in the wake of a problem with an order made in the middle of the year when I received a Noobs card that would not be recognised by my Pi400. At the time you denied all possibility of an error. Once I was able to create a new card at a price significantly lower than your £7 + postage (£2.99 for something that would go in a First class envelope) I had no further problems. I really wish that all of your services matched the quality of the products you sell. P.M.Alexander

The product is great and we are very pleased with it. However, I find it very off-putting dealing with a company that has no phone number. It's just reassuring to know you can talk to someone in the unlikely event of any problems. Emails are fine and provide a useful record, but they don't give you the immediate feedback that there are people at the other end.

Packaging was great. Delivery was timely. But as written in the product description, SD card didn't work.

Case wouldn't fit, plug had no way of turning off unless you unplug it, steam won't run on it without another computer on as well just projecting the screen (might work on a different os), the writing seems hard to read even when I have increased the size and I can't seem to get xarchiver to work, apart from that I like it

Took to long to deliver, I asked if you know where is it and got reply that i didn't pay for tracking number and you don't have it. It turns out you actually had it as I saw the number when package finally arrived. I don't think that's a nice way to help the customer. In addition you added instructions that it need to be handed over to me personally, which again i couldn't know, so as I was on holidays, when it arrived delivery company didn't put it in my mailbox but asked me to pick it up in other location and charged me additional money for it. It would be much easier if you communicated all of that to avoid few inconveniences. Transparency was missing.

I have been quite impressed by the shop except that my starter kit had a dud OTG adapter, which was a bit of a buzz kill to wait another 3 days and seems like something you could have tested in house. Jury is out!

The product description did not show clearly that the Argon one m2 extention was not suited for a nvme ssd, I had to buy a sata m2 ssd to be able tu use this m2 extention!

I don’t give feedbacks anymore, this was due to having a Raspberry Pi Board I had purchased from you and kept it as a spare but the WiFi section wouldn’t function, I contacted you but you weren’t interested. I also ordered another item from you and I received it late due to a 2nd class stamp placed on my order, I contacted you via a email and the lady didn’t answer me

Great product, poor docs. Whilst both my Python and C skills are kind of ok, the supplied documentation has little to no comments/examples. In addition, only the C code has all the functionality of the screen. I’ve yet to be able to get this working beyond the demo. I’ve no idea how to write text or graphics to it, and even less of an idea how to rotate it to landscape, which is what I need for my project and my reason for buying it! If someone knows a decent Micropython or Circuitpython library for this, then could you write a review with some links perhaps? There are a few libraries out there, but for different sized screens, and I don’t have the knowledge to update the code for this one! To be fair, the PiHut support was very good, but sadly they didn’t have any other code examples beyond what is already supplied from Waveshare. All that said however, delivery and packaging were excellent as usual. Plus, the screen is excellent quality, even if mine is currently just a paperweight!

I bought a RTC module for a Raspberry Pi. It uses a capacitor to maintain power but this only seems to last a couple of days if powered off so pretty useless.
