“Ordered on Sunday, payed an extra £9.99 for next day which I thought would be Tuesday, but the parcel did not turn up until Wednesday. When told by DHL the parcel would be delivered on Wednesday, I contacted Pi hut and told them that I would not be home on Wednesday (hence the extra payment) but nothing was done. The parcel was left by my front door for anyone passing by to see and was there all day.”

“The store is great, the search, the variety! They immediately send (one day after order the package). However, it took 2 weeks for the package to arrive, due to customs. I ordered at other resellers inside the EU and got these packages in three days or less. It's clearly not the fault of PiHut, however it still has been a bad experience. I recommend a distribution center in the EU for EU customers.”

“Still awaiting my items after 20days. The shipment to sweden seems to be stuck in Germany. Helpful and fast (to reply) support are looking into this and has created a case towards Dhl.”

“None of your suggestion fixed issue. I'm beginning to think is hardware issue. Out of town now, but will start working issue when I get home. Might have to take pi out of case and hook directly to pi.”

“Lovely kit and had most things I needed to get started with. However, adding a manual and a micro SD to SD adapter would make it a one stop shop for beginners. Also, the pi case doesn't close after adding the SD card which is a shame as I have to leave the pi fully opened”

“Hi! I have received everything I ordered, but it was not complete. I ordered the cluster case but received it with one plastic bolt less. The biggest problem was with microSD cards. I have ordered two 64GB cards with NOOBS installed, but BOTH of them are totally empty and installation is not possible. The rest of the stuff was ok and functionally. Milan”

“the product was sent abroad to the Netherlands as a gift for a family member and arrived after a long time after being held by their Customs service. This is partially outside of the influence of the Pi Hut of course, though I would implore to see what the options are to improve this experience. E.g. more clear listing of items/values readable on labels, VAT paid or not, shipping from EU mainland instead?”

“Kit good but delivery did not match what was promised. I ordered on a weekend, and expected shipment on Monday. Email confirmation came Tuesday but box did not arrive until Thursday via Royal Mail Tracked 24 No Signature. Not the end of the world, but thought I'd say as it kept me in waiting for the post. Try under promising. Cheers Anthony”

“The BBC Microbit that I bought came with a battery pack as expected. However, the battery pack did not have an on-off switch. I did not expect it to be so, as I do have another microbit, and that was purchased from Amazon, and the battery pack on that does have an on-off switch that makes it very convenient. It should have been made clear in the product description by Pi Hut”

“Generally good experience. One slight issue with a RPi Zero case which was supposed to be clear, but we received the opaque version. The box had a "clear" sticker on it which was the issue, so the picker didn't make a mistake. Otherwise good, and came promptly.”

“so far from my orders i've had 1 with a melted support and an item missing from my order which took about 7 days to before receiving the replacements and also pi zero w which had a component not soldered on the board correctly by the HDMI port, which i returned then to be told your out of stock and refunded the money, so i had to order a zero WH and pay more postage so i could try out the HD camera, my first time using raspberry Pi equipment etc, not a good experience for a first time user. Billie was good with dealing with my problems but the service after that was slow, having spent over £200 in the last few weeks im not totaly happy with the service.”

“The products were good however I ordered before the next-day cutoff time and paid for next-day delivery, for it to come 2 days later. It wasn't a massive inconvenience but I was a little peeved”

“The shopping experience was good, but you should also handle the new rules for VAT payment to the government in the country of the customer. When you leave that to the customer, an extra handling fee of about £15 are required from the shipping provider, and make you less attractive to foreign countries”

“Hi, My order took 3 weeks to get delivered to Dublin. I realise that this is not your fault but unfortunately deliveries from the UK seem to take a lot longer since Brexit was finalised. Also, as a non UK customer I now have to be mindful of possible VAT charges on any orders above £22, which means that I have to start looking to France/Germany etc. Again, all out of your control but just wanted to give you some feedback from this side of the water. As for the order itself I'm very happy with the items. The box was not very well sealed at the bottom so I was lucky that the shim I ordered didn't fall out, so maybe just something to watch out for. Apologies, if this sounds like a big moan but it's not really, I have no issues in general with your service. Hopefully it's feedback that can be of use.”
