“For the available parts - the Pi Hut response was very good. The problem is that Raspberry Pi units are simply not available. I realise that this is probably as frustrating for the Pu Hut as it is for us but greater clarity/explanation of the problems would have been welcome. For the record - I have actually paid “over the odds” to buy three units through eBay”

“I had a great experience shopping at The Pi Hut. Everything was well-packed, and the products arrived in good condition. However, I don’t think I am going to ship using the £12 international option again, as it took 27 long days to arrive to a country within Europe.”

“Ordering the new Pico W was very easy and convenient. The web page is easy to navigate. The buying limitations to one piece at a time is understandable but also a bit annoying. The device arrived quickly soon after I ordered it. There is plenty of excellent documentation online, so I did not expect any to come with the device.”

“Great product selection, good prices, fast delivery, items nicely plastic-bagged in the box. Slight negatives: (a) bags are only labelled with a numeric code which does not appear on the order confirmation, making it difficult to reconcile items received vs those ordered. (b) Despatch was not delayed as I'd requested by email (I was on holiday when Pico W became available)”

“I ordered a pico w along with the waveshare epaper 2.9” display. Pico w was a doddle to solder and connect and running the hello world example shows 4 rows of text in black & red in portrait. Wonderful. However waveshare does not provide a way of specifying the orientation of the screen in python. It’s there in the c code example, but I want to use micropython for libraries like urequests. All their product marketing which you also use shows text and graphics in landscape which I feel is erroneous if that’s only accessible from C. In my opinion you should add to the product page this detail. I’ve reached out to their support but have not heard back yet, it’s been ~24hrs. Other than this I think your service is awesome, speedy and consistently good. All the best Michael”

“Thank you for not raising the prices of the boards when stocks are low. My only complaint is that I recieved a european powrsuply. It's working fine on my switch charger for now, and will get an adapter when now. I can appreciate the fact that it's probualy all you had left in stock: so I'm just happy I could get the board. :D”

“The website looks very professional and was easy to navigate. I especially appreciated the guides. The package was delivered as promised. I had a bit of trouble with the currency coversion since the site didn't seem to do that correctly. Although that might be because i'm using firefox instead of chrome”

“Well It was not satisfying nor terrible. I wanted to pay with PayPal and for some reason I couldn't but in the end it didn't matter and I wish you could already add the Credit/Debit option soon. Apart from that, everything is fine.”

“Overall good experience, great selection of components at a reasonable price. Reason for 4 stars was that after placing the order there was no indication of when it would arrive until the day before (royal mail) .”
