“Quite fast turnaround, good quality, price OK. We are used to free delivery these days so having to pay is a shock (and not cheap) but I like to support small UK companies so I will use again. I found the website easy to navigate and lots of things I hadn't thought of to pique my interest.”

“Easy to make a purchase. There were however a lot of options and I felt like there wasn't quite enough information to help me decide what I needed. I had to Google and look at 3rd party sites in the end to make my decision.”

“I bought a Raspberry Pi 4b kit order #857619. Huge thanks for supplying some 4b 8GB models. I understand these are only available from you in kit form. The only thing that would have made this a better experience was if the kit itself was customisable. It'd be great if the customer could select from a pre-selected list of items to go in the kit. I'm not a fan of the plastic pink/white case that comes with the kit. It would have been great to swap that out with the aluminium armour (would have paid the markup minus cost of plastic case). I ended up buying the aluminium armour outside of the kit and just binning the plastic one that came. It also would have been good to swap the HDMI cable for an Ethernet cable. I've just shelved the HDMI from the kit and am making by with one of my Ethernet cables at home. It's just another opportunity really to minimise e-waste and give the customer a bit more flexibility.”

“Very very happy with the price, purchasing process, packaging and delivery time. Where could PiHut Improve? After purchase I thought I may need a case fan too, so messaged you to see if I could add it to my order instead of purchasing separately and paying another unnecessary delivery charge. However I never received a reply. I’m flummoxed as to why starter kits are available but standalone Pi’s are not? Is this just to upsell? Finally, the power adapter in this starter kit isn’t an official adapter but in some other kits you supply they are.”

“Good range of products, item delivered promptly as described. Good information on website with good product pictures and honest reviews. Now I am going to be a bit mean here, but the website is terrible on the modern mobile device I use (Android 11 Galaxy A10). The search function is poor, it is slow and clunky, pictures too big for screen, takes ages to find the otherwise excellent, well described, photographed and reviewed products that I need. A complete and utter pig to use and lets down what is otherwise an excellent company in every respect.”

“I ordered a Raspberry Pi 4 8GB kit with the UK-type plug and it was delivered to me the next day through DHL. I am extremely pleased with the service from The Pi Hut and their price offerings for the product. Knowing that the Pis are in shortage, obtaining one in the US is next to impossible but thanks to The Pi Hut I received one at the right time. However, I wished that I could order one with the US-type plug because I had to spend extra for the Pi's power plug.”

“Great selection, good site, easy to order. Only place they lose a star is there is no free P&P option. Would have happily accepted waiting a week for free P&P, instead they got it to me next day :D. My order was small and light enough to fit in a tiny envelope.”

“I purchased three products, the half-size transparent breadboard, an AHT-20 temperature and humidity sensor and a Pico. The packaging was minimal (though could still be slightly improved upon) and my products arrived relatively quickly in working order. It took me around a day to get the AHT-20 working, but that was due to driver troubles. The Pico is fun to use, and I look forward to using it in the future. Not much more I could ask for.”

“The Pihut website a great for deciding what kit to buy. So much choice. Purchasing the extras for my Pi Zero was easy and a reasonable price. Delivery was very quick. The only issue was when I looked at what items I would need to get my Pi Zero up and running there was no mention of an OTG USB cable, even the Raspberry Pi shop didn't list this item. So I had to buy this on a separate order, so incuring another delivery charge. This is not a Pihut issue but mine. But it would be good to assist new users with a list of the basic kit required to get up and running. Keep up the good work.”

“I like the products. Just packaging could improve. My package was open when it was left at my door. The photo that DHL left to show it was delivered shows the package open. Good thing is that all the items were inside.”
