Order was great, decent price and came in good condition:) The only issue is that they shipped with evri, and evri arbitrarily forgot to deliver after they marked it as out for delivery. Evri tends to be a sub-par quality delivery service.

Overall a good shopping experience. However, I couldn’t find a contact phone number, and the customer support email was hard to locate on the website.

Overall good, but not much to do with the starter kit; not enough parts to experiment with

Good products and plenty of inof on the site. Delivery not too bad but be aware that they do use Evri, who I find to be very slow and unreliable.

My order was delivered very quickly indeed and everything seemed to be complete. There were several things, however, that I felt could be significantly improved to help users. Firstly you really need to have a very small crosshead screwdriver to assemble some of the parts, a size that few people are likely to have at home. The cost of making such a tiny screwdriver in volume would be incredibly small and giving one away with each starter kit would be a very good idea. Unfortunately some of the components are not compatible with one another and nothing is done during the ordering process to make sure this doesn't happen. If one uses a M.2 HAT+ for example, there are no instructions as to what to do if you have ordered a heatsink and a cooling fan. Basically it seems that you got to throw these away because you can actually install them within the unit sensibly (I'm assuming that just simply having lying around inside the structure doesn't count as being sensible) the cover on the red/pink case cannot be used with the ventilation fan because there aren't pillars to mounted properly. There is another problem which I think does need to be addressed in that some of the modules are connected simply by inserting the ribbon cable into high-density connector. These connectors are helpful only if you know how to use them and how to release them. I have not found a decent account of what to do here on the web and had to make it up myself. In fact I have worked in electronics for many years and so know what to look for but for anybody who did not have my own background it is highly likely they would end up by damaging the connector or the ribbon. These are fairly minor comments but I think that trying to do something about them would make the whole process much more rewarding. It took me around a day to get everything working because of these details where I assembled and disassembled some of these units several times to get everything to work together properly. Generally a very nice combination of extremely low-cost hardware but I felt significantly spoiled by the absence of simple instructions (the fifth edition of the raspberry booklet doesn't cover it) would be very useful simply as small piece of paper in each appropriate packet. Best wishes Craig Mackay.

Overall shopping experience was very good, delivery took longer than advertised which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

The PiHut website is a gem and easy to navigate. Service is good and shipping is quick. One suggestion: it wold be nice if items such as equipment cases and displayed space-taking dimensions. It is very easy to order items that won't fit inside a case or won't fit together.

No problems at all with the Pi Hut directly, however the parcel delivery provided by Evri was beyond poor - my Pi was left out in the open not out of view, and not under cover on a rainy day - when I did get the parcel it was sopping wet through, and it was pure luck that the Pi itself was not damaged by the rain. I'd recommend not selecting Evri as the delivery option to buyers, and to Pi Hut I'd suggest removing Evri as a delivery option to avoid the many future issues that will happen as a result of their couriers being forced to achieve unworkable delivery targets.

Nice easy to use website and fast delivery (less than 48 hours from clicking "buy". I would appreciate an option to send by normal UK post though, as for items costing e.g. less than £5, charging for Evri delivery feels excessive and puts the overal cost up higher.

The ordering process, pricing and product range on offer was just fine. And my order was shipped promptly too. I'd have used 5 starts but for the fact they use Evri as the courier. The parcel was "delivered" by being left under a hedge, in the dirt, at the top of our driveway in full view of any one passing. Fortunately it was still there when I got home.

The whole process was quite smooth and once the dispatch stage was reached the products arrived at my door pretty fast - which is great for people like me that do mini projects on deadlines. I like how on the product description there's a collation of relevant documentation and help on how to operate or wire some of the equipment. I will definitely be buying more stuff from this site
