“Wanted and ordered a mattress from them top of the range great when choosing and staff fantastic. But finished up having to cancel because delivery being made from large outside company who wanted to deliver at 6.00am in the morning with no care about customers premises as they insisted they would still wear their safety shoes and expected customers to protect flooring. Impossible having a solid oak stair tradesmen either wore overshoes or trainers to prevent damage. Explained our problem and told could not do anything about this as Original Bed as a company had no control over delivery. Great shame they refunded money very quickly and we still have not got ourselves A NEW MATTRESS as to be honest cannot find a good option. If only had been able to organise direct delivery from the factory to our home only a hour deal would have been done. We do think the mattresses look great and there has obviously been a change as the website mentions access for wheelchairs etc., and this would not be possible as the mattresses are upstairs and not really laid out as a showroom but staff makes up for this with their attention/”

“Bought two beds from here. Everything was 10/10. Will be buying another bed in near future. Will only ever buy a bed from this company, although with how solid and well made the beds are i will never need to buy a new bed again. Great”

“ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE From start to finish amazing I spent months searching for the right bed frame worrying about purchasing online Having only read wonderful reviews I decided to order a king Winchester . Over the moon . I paid to have it put up and so glad I did the gentleman was so patient kind and efficient . Fabulous highly recommend”

“We ordered the small double Timolin in satin black for our son after seeing it on thebighillhouse Instagram account and it did not disappoint. Not everything always lives up to your expectations but this beautiful bed surpassed mine, it is strong, expertly made and stunning to look at. We will definitely be ordering from The Original Bed Company again.”

“Ordering my bed from the Original Bed Company was one of the best decisions I have made. I saw this particular bed in an advertisement last year and looked all over for it in stores that were located in the US. I finally found that The Orginal Bed Company was the maker of this bed and I contacted them. I ordered the bed and it was completed faster than I thought. The shipping was long but that was understandable because it was international shipping. When I received the bed, I was in love all over again. It is the bed that I dreamed I would be able to buy one day. It is a gift to myself after the pandemic. This company was so easy to work with and each person that I communicated with treated me with the utmost respect. I have referred a few friends to this company for their future purchases. I will forward a picture when I finish designing my new bedroom. Now I need beautiful new pajamas! Thank you, Robin”

“I purchased my bed from OBC having read up on how metal beds can vary dramatically in quality - I appreciated that a bed frame constructed from multiple parts was unlikely to last very long. I also wanted to store items under the bed so I didn't want support legs getting in the way. My OBC bed frame is exactly as they promised; strong, simple to construct (with no joints in the side lengths and no supporting legs) and most importantly, lovely to look at! I am absolutely thrilled!”

“Bed is sturdy, stylish and comfortable. The instructions to assemble were clear and all elements were present and correct. Assembly was surprisingly quick. The bed looks great in our room and we are very happy with our purchase.”

“It’s the best product. To keep in simple lines… Delivered in short time without any delay. Package of the product is very good. Not a single chance of getting damaged. Assembling is quite easy and quick to do. Quality of the product is strong, has a classic and stylish look. There is no sound at all, as people might think iron beds could make noise.”
