“This bed is utterly wonderful! I had no idea how much more comfortable it would be than my old one. Easy to put together (I did it alone) sturdy and looks so beautiful. Not squeaky which I'd worried about. Cannot recommend enough.”

“Great service. Very well made bed. Great mattress but I bought a white bed frame and the finish really looks awful. So cheap and shiny looking. Looks like it cost me £100. Bad choice on my part I think.”

“We've used your company on two occasions, in 2017 & again in 2022. “I absolutely love my bed! I wanted a bed with a low footboard and was so pleased to find several options to choose from on the website. The bed arrived in quick time and was straight forward to put together with 2 people. It is not only comfortable, but importantly doesn't squeak when you roll over! It looks brilliant in my newly renovated bedroom. Very pleased”

“This is the second bed I have ordered from the oringinal bed company as was so pleased with my first bed which was the Selkirk this time it was the Nancy these beds are well made and very sturdy and compliments any bedroom good customer services when I ordered over the phone and kept me updated with the delivery so all in all good company and would definitely use them again .”

“I have to say how extremely pleased with the bed I ordered. Firstly, I made a mistake when I placed the order and the staff were very efficient in helping me change my order. My bed arrived on time and I have never seen such a well packaged item before, ensuring that no pieces could be scratched or damaged. The bed looks absolutely beautiful and is very well made. I would definitely recommend this company and I will be using them again fir future purchases. Very impressive!”

“An incredibly handsome bed. just what we wanted. The under storage drawers are super handy as well (as it’s a smallish room). The delivery was very straightforward as well and they even unboxed some of the items to get them up the stairs. The self assembly was mostly straightforward, though I panicked thinking half the bolts were missing, even though it does state in the instructions that they are fitted into the frame!”

“I stayed in a lovely B & B in Somerset in May, and slept on a bed which was so comfortable that I asked the owner about the mattress. She had bought it quite recently from The Original Bed Company, so when I got home I decided to replace my rather elderly mattress with a new one from OBC. It is excellent, with just the right level of support, and obviously very well made. Full marks also to the delivery man, who carried the mattress upstairs for me - much appreciated.”

“I love the Ballina bed. My son said it’s as solid as a tank. The bed was easy to assemble and only took maybe 30min. We did find the full size bed is about four inches narrower than my new Serra full size mattress. The mattress is designed for platform use and width of frame made no difference.”

“I can highly recommend The OBC! I ordered a white super king size Tulsk iron bed frame, it was in stock and was delivered promptly. I had a phone call from the driver when he was half hour away giving me eta. The bed frame is strong, sturdy, very well made and easy to ensemble. I would definitely recommend getting the under bed draws, they are fabulous! Large, roomy, much strong that I thought they might be. They simply fit under the bed frame and are a fantastic storage facility. Several years ago a purchased a double bed frame, from the Carrie range, that is still as good as the day I bought it, (now in the spare room) so when we decided to size up to a super king, The Original Bed Company was the only place I was prepared to look. You won’t be disappointed!”
