“This is our 3rd bed from OBC and this one seems even better, the other 2 were purchased some years ago. In the intervening period we rubbed some paint off 1 of the older beds but a quick call to OBC resulted in the correct colour being sent for free. We didn't need to think twice about where to buy a new bed when we decided to replace 1 of the earlier beds which had been given to our daughter. The new bed is excellent and has already been admired by everyone that has seen it.”

“We are very pleased with our bed and mattress. We ordered the Athena king frame, which we bought with the mattress to save £100. Initially, I only ordered the frame and was going to get a mattress elsewhere, but for the convenience of having them both delivered at the same time and having £100 taken off the total value, it made sense to order them both together. Ringing up to change the order was no inconvenience for the company either. I have recommended the company and their beds to friends already.”

“Lovely bed and mattress, surprised at the good quality for the price frankly. Very robust bed, great design, looks good quality as well as feels it. Mattress (the wool one) is brilliant, very comfortable. The only reason it’s 4 not 5 stars is because the slats are a manufactured material not pure wood, which I would have preferred”

“I’m delighted with my bed and mattress. I believe the discount when purchased together good value. The best thing about a wool mattress is that it can be recycled eventually. I’ll put mine in the compost! I’m keen to know whether I can purchase under bed storage units as I’d missed them in my initial search but they look to be a very good idea.”

“The bed looks very good, and fitted together well. It feels solid and does not squeak. Most happy with it. Given the price is somewhat less than others, I think the quallity is very good. Also helpful to have a showroom out of London. I suspect the assembly instructions were a little confusing, but that is minor. Likewise, I am most happy with the mattress.”

“Absolutely delighted with the quality and look of our bed. We enquired by telephone about delivery time prior to ordering and were reassured by the confidence expressed by the knowledgeable respondent that it would be delivered on time...and it was. The materials and finish are first class and it has been admired by family/friends. The frame is rock solid and the wooden struts provide perfect support to our top quality mattress. I can be very fussy when buying and the fact that it has met, and probably exceeded my expectations, is credit to The Original Bed Company. Price was very fair also given the quality and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.”

“My experience has been fantastic. The website was easy to navigate and order through. Delivery was prompt, within a few days and the delivery team were very friendly. “We are very happy with our Original Bed Company bed. Helpful sales team, good communications, great product, well priced for the quality and delivered on time. It was straightforward to assemble and exactly as described on the website. What's not to like? Our only negative would be the delivery team. One of the guys was friendly and super helpful. However, his mate was the opposite. Lazy, moaning all the time and clearly an embarrassment to his colleague who was trying to do a good job. In fact the good guy apologised for his colleague and did most of the work with our help! Anyway a small mention really. The main thing is that we have a lovely bed which we anticipate will last a good number of years. Thank you OBC. We recommend 👏”
