“The bed is excellent quality - and better than the Chinese made beds on similar sites - strong, thick glossy paint, no squeaking. And especially nice - the iron bedstead is strong enough not to need and additional supports in the middle - which means you can freely use all the underbed as storage. The mattress is reassuringly expensive and luxurious - thicker and more comfortable than any we have - but seems like a real investment in comfort and in the Northampton mattress making industry.”

“We're delighted with our new bed. Love the style and quality of it, it's really well built and was easy to assemble. It was difficult to find an authentic looking bed for our old house and this one is perfect. Very good value, delivery was very quick also. Would highly recommend, will definitely purchase another in future.”

“Absolutely adore our new iron bed (Ashely). It took a solid 3 weeks to arrive, and communication with The Original Bed Co was a bit tricky, but worth it. Would highly recommend!”

“We ordered our bed after reading some excellent reviews and so pleased that we did! The delivery time was extremely quick with good communication allowing us to pick our delivery slot the day before. The bed itself is solid and fantastic quality. It was really straightforward to put together. It looks beautiful in our bedroom and I’m already planning on getting my daughter one too! I would recommend this company to anybody who wants a good quality bed that looks great too!”

“We have purchased 2 beds from this company, the last bed was a double bed frame in 1997 and I sold it on this year (23 years later in excellent condition) and bought a Super King bed frame. I have now just purchased another frame for my Son. The beds are excellent, sturdy frames that last and they look beautiful. Also the two heights are great, but it made me feel like the Princess and the pea with higher setting!! Lower setting better for us. Also lots of room for storage underneath. The company are a pleasure to deal with and the frames are excellent value for the qualifity. Cannot recommend enough.”
