“I absolutely LOVE my Ballina 4ft bedstead. It's so beautifully designed and looks great with the white antique French bedspread! The mattress is really well-made and very comfortable. It was easy to assemble using your instruction video. Everyone involved was so helpful and polite. Thank you so much. S.A.”

“I've purchased two double bedsteads from OBC in the past few months. Easy to assemble, good look and good quality. Also bought a double mattress (wool interlayer), which is exceptionally comfortable.”

“Excellent quality beds that are simple to assemble and will last a lifetime. I can’t believe they are not double what we paid! We spent ages travelling around different shops looking at metal framed beds but most were made out of materials that wouldn’t last five minutes but then I found the Original Bed Company website. We took a trip to the Corby showroom just to check the quality and to ask a few specific questions and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We ordered a bed and mattress and it was delivered a week later by two very polite and helpful men. Very happy and would highly recommend!”

“We liked the bed we bought for our daughter so much we bought a king size for ourselves. Top quality product, easy to put together and most importantly so comfortable. The only issue is getting out of bed on the weekend!”

“I've bought two iron bed frames and one mattress from The Original Bed Company now and will be buying a third shortly for a spare room. Had my first one for about four years now and haven't had a squeak from it in all that time, it's still solid. Bought the second a few months ago along with one of the mattresses and the frame is the same great quality. The mattress is the most comfortable one I've ever had and I wish I'd bought one for the first bed at the time as well. Overall great looks and quality, I've recommended them to friends and will be buying from them again.”

“Very happy with the bed we bought. I was a little apprehensive about buying online without seeing the bed in a showroom, but it was better than expected. The quality is extremely good and it was easy to put together. We had a slight issue with missing instructions, but after telephoning an email with the instructions was sent through immediately! I would 100% recommend this company.”

“We were very happy from the time we ordered our bed and mattress to the delivery and removal of the old one. The person who delivered and assembled it for us couldn't have been more patient and helpful. He was lovely! I would definitely recommend his company.”

“Points positifs: Je suis très satisfaite de la qualité du produit. Le lit est magnifique et très confortable. Points négatifs: Une pièce était défectueuse et j'ai dû attendre très longtemps avant d'en recevoir une nouvelle. J'ai dû envoyer plusieurs emails pour obtenir enfin ce remplacement. On m'avait confirmé par email que les taxes anglases me seraient remboursées lorsque j'aurais payé les taxes suisses. J'ai écrit et envoyé la preuve de payement de ces taxes suisses à plusieurs reprises et j'attends toujours ce remboursement. Conclusion: Produits de qualité, mais service client et service après vente pas à la hauteur... Dommage”

“The quality of both the bed and mattress has not just met but surpassed my expectations. Keep up the good work. Both arrived on time and well packaged. I was absolutely delighted when I unwrapped the bed to see it was as well made and as sturdy as another I had looked at in a shop that was almost double the price. The same with the mattress, great quality and nearly half the price of similar from a well known high street bed company. Fantastic value for money and I am more than confident to recomend the Original Bed Company to anyone.”

“It is a good looking, well-made bed, and very comfortable. Did have a struggle removing the brittle plastic 'plugs' in the legs of the bed when constructing it and would have appreciated more detailed instructions in this respect.”
