“Product quality excellent, service not so. I had one query overy my delivery, made a call. Whoever dealt me was dismissive and patronising, had all the customer skills of an angry wasp. Great product by the way, just don't expect good service if you have a problem.”

We always want our customers to feel comfortable with our product and our service and we strive to get better each day. “Two single Beds and mattresses delivered on time We did have a slight fault with one bed slat. When I telephoned to discuss they were quick to act and send out a replacement. Beds look great and mattresses are super comfy We will definitely order the King size version too as the new beds show up our other old divans !”

“This is our third bed from The Original Bed Company, and we were as delighted by it as we were with the previous two. Our only disappointment was that it had to be bought in something of a hurry and sadly we could not have one with brass trimmings as that would have taken too long.”

“Alles verlief zu meiner Zufriedenheit. Die Lieferung aus UK nicht einmal eine Woche! Das Bett very British! Wurde es glatt nochmal kaufen! Das aufbauen verlief echt schnell. Nach 3 Std. Stand alles wieder auf seinem Platz. Echt gute Qualität!”

“Absolutely brilliant customer service. When I needed a spare part for a fourteen year old metal bad frame that had become fatigued, they identified the part required from photos that I sent and supplied a replacement part free of charge, even though it was an old design that was no longer produced.”

“The Original Bed Company is local to us, so we visited their showroom to look for a new mattress. We were pleased to hear the mattresses are made at the factory and that they offer a 100 night guarantee, which is reassuring. We ordered ours on a Friday afternoon and it was delivered the following Tuesday. Excellent service and quality product.”

“The bed is lovely but I was very disappointed by the sheer quantity of waste and plastic in the packaging. It was devastating to think of the environmental impact of this sort of packaging.”

Hi Kryszia, I'm glad you lone the bed, and we appreciate your feedback on the packaging. It's a very fine balance trying to use as little packaging as possible, and still ensuring a customer's bed arrives in perfect condition. We have significantly reduced our packaging over the years, whilst still ensuring extremely low levels of damage in transit. One of our core beliefs is that something should be made once, and well. That said though, we are continually looking to improve and are actually developing a new packaging system that completely eliminates any plastic, and uses even less cardboard than currently.
