“I was very pleased with the service from the staff on the order line. They are friendly and helpful. I wanted to order a bed that may have taken four weeks to be delivered. However stock was due in on Monday the following week and I had it delivered on the Tuesday. I was very happy with the bed, it was exactly what I wanted and I am thinking of getting another one.”

“We are delighted with the quality of our camolin bed. It is beautiful and better even than we had hoped. The drawers were worth the extra money and are so spacious. The service we received from tanya and mathew was professional and friendly and helpful on every contact and we are very grateful and really pleased we discovered the original bed company.”

“Beds are very well made in lots of different finishes and colours. The metal traditional bed have all the good features of past bedsteads, with modern sound connections, easy to assemble with good instructions. Delivery was as scheduled and well packaged. Intend to use TOBC again in the near future and would recommend.”

“Delighted with the new bed, excellent value for money, relatively easy to assemble (the assembly booklets were not quite 100% but good enough not to cause to much hassle)....only hiccup was once we put the mattress and pillows on the design on the headboard end is hidden- hadn't thought about this when ordering!”

“My Selkirk bedstead arrived last Friday and my son and his friend put it together for me. It was delivered very efficiently and within the time window promised. The bedstead was extremely carefully packaged and, when unpacked, we found it in excellent condition. It was relatively easy to assemble. I am really pleased with it. It looks most attractive and is very solidly built.”

“I bought a Selkirk Chromo in king size, and was extremely impressed with the quality of the bedstead once it was delivered. The bed frame is incredibly heavy, and constructed very well - I think it will certainly last me my lifetime! I love the fact that it has two height options for your mattress as I have multiple health issues, and being in a “higher up bed” suits my needs perfectly. The bed was pretty straightforward to put together by myself, although I did struggle to attach the rod (which keeps the curved chrome rail attached to the head/footboard), and gave up altogether with trying to do the one for the footboard, as there was an obstruction in the centre tube preventing the rod from being inserted fully. I simply cobbled together a way for the rail to be held in place, although not as securely as it would be if the rod was inserted as supposed. All in all, I would highly recommend The Original Bedstead Company despite the difficulties I had with the rod issue! One thing The Original Bedstead Company may like to look at, is altering their preferred Couriers...ArrowXL were completely shambolic from start to finish, and only for the fact that Malcolm at The Original Bedstead Company was SO helpful in the issues I had with the couriers, I would have totally lost my temper. Well done OBC in both excellent customer service skills and manufacturing beautifully made, high quality bedsteads!”

“Initially we purchased a single Edwardian bed frame as a tester bed for our guest house in Blackpool. We were so impressed with both the bed itself and the servce we received from The Original Bedstead Co, that we went ahead and purchased four double frames and four more single frames all "Edwardian" in satin black finish. The frames come well packaged and are easy to assemble in minutes. They have transformed our guest rooms and look perfect!!. Very very happy (wish we had more rooms to put more of your fabulous beds in!!) Thankyou.”

“From order to delivery was 2 weeks including painting the bedstead our chosen colour. Arrived within the time allocated and was very well packaged. Wd couldn’t find all the bolts but customer services were most helpful and they explained where they were hidden! The bed was easy to put together no we are very pleased with it and would definitely buy another bed from this company. Tanya and Jamil have been most helpful throughout.”

“Amazingly efficient delivery- very convenient choice of days and times, 2 hour time slot texted the day before & easy to track progress on the day. Only thing to remember is you can't be needing the bed in a hurry- took approx 6 weeks from order to time frame for delivery. Having said that, would definitely use again.”
