“Excellent service from the gentleman taking my order, delivery was quick, and the delivery men took the (very heavy) packages upstairs for me as I couldn’t possibly have managed. The bed was straightforward to assemble and once made up with bedding looked fabulous. We’ve been looking for a really nice metal framed super king for ages and this one definitely ticked all the boxes. Well made and strong and looks beautiful. Thankyou OBC”

“We have now purchased both a single and a double bed and mattress from The Original Bed Company and both times the beds were simple to order and delivered on time with a very helpful delivery service. Most importantly once constructed (not my husband’s forte but he managed easily on both occasions) the beds look fabulous and we are now enjoying wonderful comfortable nights on truly excellent bed and mattress.”

“I purchased my iron bed as we have just moved into a period cottage in the dales. The delivery was on time and hassle free. The bed is beautiful and very easy to assemble as long as you take your time. It is very comfortable as the new mattress that I paired with the bed is just so perfect for the way I sleep. I would recommend this company and it’s wonderful products.”

“Nothing to fault. Second time of using - both times excellent friendly service and a small problem the first occasion resolved next day. Two great beds for our guest rooms after waiting months for a leading retailer to eventually admit the could not fulfil our order.”

“Having spent a weekend with my son and his wife at their new cottage,and sleeping on one of your beds .I realised how bad mine at home was. I ordered a mattress as soon as I got home.got it delivered within a few days.I am more than happy with it .”

“Great service, great products and great prices! We spent ages travelling around looking at different beds but we couldn't find the quality we wanted without the price being exorbitant, until we found the Original Bed Company online. We took a trip to the Corby showroom where Nick was really helpful and answered all of our questions and we were able to look at both the quality and an assortment of bed types. (Just one word of warning if you are thinking of visiting the Corby showroom, it is upstairs and there isn't a lift.) We ordered a bed and mattress and were then quickly contacted by the delivery company and given a date and time for delivery. The two men that delivered it were really helpful too. Less than a week from order to delivery is pretty impressive. The bed was well packaged and assembly was very straightforward and didn't take too long. The quality of the bed really stood out as we were putting it together and once assembled, it was very solid and had no annoying rattles or wobbles. The mattress did have a slight bamboo smell but this went completely after just a few days, just like others have already said, so we were prepared for it. We have had the bed and mattress for about four weeks now and are really delighted with it. We can't recommend the company highly enough!”

“I’m delighted with my new bed - the OBC team was helpful during the ordering process with customized measurements. There was a slight delivery issue (due to courier not OBC) which customer support solved quickly and efficiently- Assembly is straightforward - I managed to put it all together all by myself . Super sturdy , high quality and a very reasonable price - not to mention gorgeous. Very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this company”

“This bed is just gorgeous! Super sturdy and perfect height. Feel like this bed could last for many many years. Instructions could be a bit clearer but as long as you have two people to build it it’s fine.”
