“We were looking to upgrade my daughters cot bed when I found your web site. Ordered a single metal framed bed. It arrived when you said, beautifully made and easy to put together. A quality product - so much so we ordered a king size in the same design for us and can’t wait for that to arrive!”

“We purchased a Corby metal bed a couple of months ago. The selection and delivery processes were excellent. Assembly of the bed was fairly straightforward. From the outset though, the bed tended to creak / squeak. I tightened the bolts in the affected area and actually tried to ‘muffle’ the metal on metal contacts. This did not fix the problem. Eventually I looked on the website and applied a couple of suggestions (oiled bolts, electrical tape on metal surfaces). This seems to have fixed the problem. That said the bed seems high quality and well made.”

“I've put a video because I found it hard to find a good real-life picture of the OBC Tulsk bed (superking) in the ivory colour. Took a slight risk in ordering it as I was unsure if it'd be too cream or shiny - so glad that it isn't. The paint job was the first thing that struck me - the paint looks luscious in its application, and you can see from the video it's near-white. We have another cast-iron/brass bed which has served us well for 20+ years, but this bed feels even sturdier, if that's even possible. Partly because the slatted frame is its own thing and it doesn't use the bed ends for its structure. I was pleasantly surprised the slat frame is also the same colour. The bed was made-to-order, they gave a lead time of 8-10 weeks, it arrived within 9. Construction was straight forward, though I'm used to my other bed. It is paired with a latexsense opulence mattress. The only slight issue was the sprung slats are not polished, which does make it hard hoiking the mattress onto it. The bed looks incredible. I've slept one night in it - it is rock solid, no creaks.”

“We love our bed! Super fast delivery, rock solid quality build, easy to assemble, and the look is exactly what we were going for. So much more affordable than other super king options and much better looking than fabric frames. This will be a forever piece.”

“I don't suppose I'll ever need to purchase another bed again after buying this one as its probably bomb proof. All jokes aside - the materials and design structure of the frame are second to none - read that bit again...second to none! Two months after buying and still not a squeek out of it. I would wholeheartedly recommend these beds to anyone who appreciates top quality at a very reasonable price - certainly on par with what you may expect to pay at an infamous Scandinavian furniture retailer.”

“Ordered 2 single beds. From start to finish was kept up to date with progress of order. Delivered within a week and delivered on time by pleasant drivers. Excellent quality and straightforward to put together by ourselves ( were in our 70s) Very small problem with 2 slats which was resolved instantly with replacements received the next day. Excellent quality. Am already thinking of my next purchase! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.”

“Very pleased with our Super King Hamilton bed and Juno Cashmere mattress. Very comfortable, firm mattress and wonder how we managed to sleep in a double sized bed before! Definitely recommend the under bed drawers - really useful, roomy and accessible storage space. OBC were very helpful organising delivery and assembly in our home too. Excellent service overall”

“I so recommend The Original Bed Company. I chose a Nancy bed in irovy with my choice of original fabric for the upholstery. The service from start to finish was first class (with extra mention for Tanya who was amazing and so helpful). I was thrilled with the bed frame which had been beautifully upholstered. The delivery was great too. A first class service all round. Thank you!”

“I am very happy with all four beds and the service I received. I had many questions before placing such a big order. We exchanged many emails answering my questions and settling on delivery options. One short phone call prior to order to ensure we agreed on all the details. One bed wasnt in stock, so we needed to agree on what to do. I am very confident the excellent customer service will continue if I experience any problems with the beds later. Very happy with delivery of the beds including their representative puttingbthem together. Beds are very good quality. I honestly have nothing negative to say.”

“Hello from Tasmania Australia. Have to say l was a little sceptical to buy such a large important item so far away, needless to say l shouldn't have worried.
