“My daughter booked a table in the restaurant yesterday as a Christmas treat for us. We arrived 15 mins early and was seated. Ordered food straight away after a few minutes and received our drinks. We were told 20 mins later that there was a 45 minute wait for food. We were on a bit of a schedule and live 45 mins away so would have had to leave at 12.45. We requested a refund. We were offered take away slices of cake and my daughter went to the till to process the refund. We were charged for the tea and cake. The refund has not yet been processed. The restaurant was not full when we arrived. Usually restaurants give booked customers priority when ordering food. Very disappointed on missing out on our special treat which we had travelled a long way for.”

“An exceptionally helpful, well-stocked garden centre and a place with a lovely atmosphere - so I bought a voucher for it as a Christmas present. Voucher looked very nice and arrived very fast and will be well-received, I am sure.”

“Delivery by Old Railway was quick. They e-mailed me promptly to let me know the red mug was not in stock and that a refund was on the way. The Mug was exactly as advertised and packaged very well. I would definitely buy from Old Railway again. Many thanks.”
