“Did not receive an acknowledgement email when the lights were ordered so was unsure if the order had actually gone through. Some time after ordering I received an email from Evri to state delivery”

“I would be lying if I said I was a happy customer; you advertised a particular product that you no longer stock, told me it was coming which included a photo of it and then got in touch to say that it was no longer available. As it was a Christmas present, it left me with few options that close to christmas to change my mind and I can't believe it takes long to take an article off your website that is no longer in stock.”

“Original order not available - suspected stolen. Helpful customer service, I was offered an alternative with 24 hour delivery, funded by Garden Centre. Evri sent me several emails -expecting the item, changing the delivery data - all messages received after the 24 hour delivery promise had expired. Parcel eventually arrived 7 days after expected 24 hour delivery.”

“Great service but delivery prices are far too expensive, there's no way it costs over £6 to post a box of christmas lights, on top of that they use Evri”

“I ordered four glazed saucers and they arrived in a box the size of a chair, over 1m high. Inside the extra large box was a lot of shredded cardboard. When I removed this shredded cardboard I found another smaller box inside. When I opened the smaller box it contained more shredded cardboard. When I removed the shredded cardboard I found four smaller packages inside. The saucers were wrapped inside the smaller packages, all intact. It took me probably fifteen minutes in total to reach the saucers. My wheelie recycling bin was three-quarter’s full of shredded cardboard by the end! I’ve had to flat pack the other cardboard boxes down and hope they’ll be collected by the recycling truck. It took about ten further minutes to put everything into recycling. All in all the unwrapping of these four saucers felt like an unnecessary waste of time and effort and packaging.”

“Sorry to say this . I ordered a small fern. Out of stock I'm told. I agree to take small begonia. This arrives all squashed up and damaged. What can I say more .I am not happy. The begonia is not happy .in spite of my efforts doubt it will live”

“My rose arrived damaged and broken with the bugs all in the pot I asked for help and got a £10 refund for it but it was a present which I said I couldn’t give in that condition I was told it will pick up which was not what i wanted to hear not happy at all as I kept the rose hoping it would come on later but had to buy again for my sisters present”

“I received the potatoes from you in very good time however the potatoes were in very poor condition. They were very dehydrated and withered I am sorry to say I don’t expect them to grow very well. I will not be buying from you again I am sorry to say. I will put this one down to experience.”

“This was my first online purchase with Old Railway Line Garden Centre. There's fun pictures of jolly staff and a store selling items I can't get regularly now. Speedy delivery. Fantastic! But... PLEASE change how you package your items when shipping. Receiving my purchases with LOTS of old plastic 'refuse'; torn bags, product wrappers, old shrink-wrap packaging, bits of bin bags etc., is not what I'd expect from a modern day company. As a company you can recycle your plastics better than I can, so why send it to customers as eco-packaging? It all ended up in my bin.”

“Orded pot online, it was extremely well packaged but had a chip at the base and paint splats. I would not have selected this item in store so more quality control needed when selecting items for web sales. I sent in feedback to company email address but had no response”
