My Bags of flour were poorly packed, the cardboard box was cheap quality and thin, and so therefore prone to damage. On receipt, the flour bags were visible through the torn cardboard,......luckily, the bags of flour were NOT punctured. So, do not send 6lbs of flour in rubbish packaging.

Love the cushions but not impressed with delivery. Don’t think I got an update email about delivery, so I was away when parcel arrived. The box was not robust enough and was badly bashed; the cushions had no protection, just laid loose in the box and the box was left on the path - if it had rained the cushions would have been ruined. Not good !

I ordered our lounger set and didn’t know that the item wasn’t in stock. I waited for a few days to receive an email with delivery details but got nothing. I then contacted you to ask why I’d not heard anything regarding the delivery? and was told it wasn’t in stock. You should have made this more clear, as we could have purchased it from another supplier for less money, - (same price but free delivery - not the additional £50) - but their site clearly stated they hadn’t any stock at present. Not very pleased with the outcome I’m afraid.

My purchase online of twelve terracotta plant pot feet was simple through an easy to navigate website, and the parcel arrival in the time frame specified. Thank you. However, if the individual responsible for packing the pot feet had taken time to wrap them a little more efficiently, then perhaps they would not have arrived chipped after being shunted about in the box during carriage. The company policy to recycle package material is to be encouraged. Smarter, more thoughtful packaging even more so.

The delivery was good and ordering easy. I liked the product just disappointed that two lights in one box don’t work even after trying to charge the batteries

I love the old Railway Line, its staff and products. But today I couldn't get the compost I needed, nor the all-purpose slow-release fertiliser I normally use. And very few vegetable seeds on the racks. Hey ho. But then I was barked at for crossing a line I hadn't seen near the checkouts. Why! I was at least 3 metres away from anyone. And then for the price of my thoughts, you offer me a free drink in the restaurant or café in the next week - but haven't you heard? They are closed for the foreseeable future. I perfectly understand. And we are all in this together. But please sort out what's possible and what's not possible. I'm happy to shop online for the next few months and support my local garden centre. Normally it's wonderful.

I couldn't have my vouchers as I had ordered them and had to have the vouchers in larger denominations which was a bit disappointing. What your website claimed was in stock was completely inaccurate

Normally Would rate at 5*. I visited in particular to buy a house plant, (as advertised tp club members) Was very disappointed with both the stock and the display. All plants looked really tired and not really healthy, and the display is very small.

Hi Jan, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm disappointed to hear you struggled to find our houseplants (which we currently have plenty of in stock). I've attached a few images to give you an idea of what we currently have. I hope you are able to call in again soon to have a look. The majority of the plants are from a fresh delivery this week so I was also surprised to hear that your thought some looked tired. I've checked all plants and I could not find any of poor health. When I ring before ordering a new tree and lights, staff were all very helpful. Unfortunately despite me making arrangements with the shop the tree turned up too early and was left with a neighbour who by chance was in! Also the tree doesn’t fit well and moves when assembled. So tape has had to be put around the top section to stop it from moving.

My visit to the garden centre and my shopping was good. However my visit to the restaurant was very disappointing. My husband had a jacket potato with coronation chicken that was so strong in curry he couldn't eat it - I had a jacket with prawns that were really tough and dry

The grotto itself was absolutely amazing, the end was brilliant with the kids, getting them all geared up for Santa, but what a disappointment he was, he really seemed like he couldn't be bothered with the children,I felt there was no oomph from him and didn't keep my children interested

The photos that were taken didn’t come through, which means we couldn’t purchase them, and the toy given to one of the two children didn’t work. So disappointed on that front, but the experience was good.
