Unfortunately a couple of issues with bird bath bought on-line but speedily resolved. Excellent cstomer service.

The Garden Centre were competitive, fast and efficient and their packaging was appropriate. Unfortunately the product that we brought did not meet expectations. It is being advertised by the manufacturer as virtually impossible for starlings and pigeons to eat from. We have never had so many starlings in out garden since we put this up.

The flowers I purchased arrived flattened, and even just putting them just outside to attempt to have them recovered didn't even work as they just died, but after sending the Old Railway Line Garden Centre and mailing them with photos, I was given a full refund.

I ordered a book for express delivery for my grandson which cost more than the book. It took 3 days to come and came in a box big enough for a dinner service which seemed a terrible waste when a padded envelope would’ve sufficed. Bit of a faff for such a small order and definitely wouldn’t pay for express delivery again with you.

Your parcel was unfortunately delayed one day by the courier, due to the slightly delayed delivery, we refunded the additional delivery paid and reduced your charge to the standard delivery - we apologise for this unforeseen delay by the courier. Regarding the packaging of your order, we have previously found that when sending books in envelopes they have been mishandled causing the books to arrive with crumpled and creases on them. The packaging and box used are all recycled from deliveries we receive. Order No 00500072828 £20 gift voucher for a Christmas present. I had problems loading the message online for this gift card when ordering it on Dec 9 th 2022. I spoke to Jack who made a note of the message, I also sent a covering e mail. It looks as if it may have been posted on Dec 12 th or Dec 16 th , both dates are shown on the envelope. Being aware of the disruption with Royal Mail I made sure to order this voucher in ample time for Christmas. It was very disappointing to receive the envelope containing the gift voucher during the afternoon of Dec 22 nd and that was only after asking our regular Postman if there was an identifiable envelope from yourselves awaiting delivery. This was too late to give to the recipients so, as yet, they have not received a Christmas gift from me. I wanted to bring this to your attention as whether the initial delay is with yourselves, only you would know. I look forward to receiving your comments on this matter. Lynn Phillips

Having ordered 5 pots on-line, only 1 undamaged pot was actually available, so I decided it wasn't really worth paying carriage for the single pot. On the plus side customer service was superb. They were very considerate keeping me promptly informed with helpful emails and photos. Maybe I'll be luckier next time.

I bought 2 lavender bushes and the delivery was prompt and efficient. 1 bush was absolutely perfect with many buds and bursting with colour but unfortunately the second was significantly less impressive and hasn't really rallied in the two weeks that I've had it.

Really liked the customer service and delivery times; however, the fact that our garden swing-chair turned up in different packaging (for corner chairs) made me think it might be a return, and I have been left with a pallet despite being assured it would be taken away (delivery person refused).

Hi Toby, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your order with us online. We are pleased to hear you were happy with the swing chair you have received and that it has arrived with you safely. The swing chair you have received was brand new from our store. The swing chairs arrive to us wrapped up on a container and are not boxed, we then package the item in any spare box we have to ensure it arrives safe and undamaged. The delivery is a kerbside delivery service therefore the delivery company do not normally take the pallet away with them. Some delivery depots are happy to take the pallets away with them however as we use a third party delivery service we can not guarantee this. Excellent product at an equally excellent price and would have given 5 stars but despite warning customer service of a narrow lane and driveway to the house the patio set was delivered on a huge rigid truck and took over an hour to manhandle into the drive which would never have been successful had we not used our own vehicle to help the driver. BEWARE if you order anything and you live down a country lane.
