“This is our second purchase from The luxury Wood Co. The first pallets were very good and very clean, however this pallet appears much dirtier with what appears to have black mildew like marks. The delivery driver was Excellant and very helpful.”

“The quality of the wood appears to be very good although I have not used much as yet. There was a problem with the delivery as the first time a very large lorry was sent which could not access the driveway so the driver asked for a large van to be used for the redelivery. However, the next time a large lorry was sent again and the driver had to back all the way along the drive and round 2 corners into the turning area. He was ex-army and a very pleasant individual who made light of it but please do not send a large lorry again,.”

“Very helpful, problem with delivery through 3rd party so arrived a couple of days later than expected. But in that delay I was able to add a couple more bits on to the delivery, so worked out well for me”

“2.4m x 150mm x 50 mm oak boards delivered direct to outside house. Regular updates on delivery time. Helpful driver unloading safely . Boards are great . perfect for my vegetable beds. Compost via different company delivered near to side gate with electric pallet truck . Good service all round. Will be using again in the Spring”

“Logs arrived in a timely fashion. Communication by the company and the delivery agent was very good. The wood was so dry that the bark fell off it when the logs were lifted out of the crate - stacking the logs then became a little messy. A small niggle for me that probably wouldn't bother everyone.”

“the wood is great but the delivery driver didnt bother to ring the door bell and instead just left the crate on the drive near where i wanted it. If he rang the bell i could have shown him exactly where i wanted the crate”

“I’ve bought wood briquettes from the luxury wood company since 2017, ordering prob between 2-4 loads a year (full pallets every time). I think this shows how happy we have been with the company. From ordering, to delivery - it’s all been easy and has always been delivered very quickly - usually within a week. The quality of the logs are also great - they burn well and heat the house up beautifully. The only negative is the price, and I’m pretty sure everyone else’s costs have gone up as well but when I look back at the prices I was paying the price this September is £260 MORE expensive than February this year!!!!! How crazy is that!! In 2017 I could have got a pallet load for less than how much they’ve gone up in 7 months!”

“We have the netted logs which is easy for us to handle, way back in time it would seem the logs were a little bigger in diameter than what is supplied today still good quality though however it is becoming an expensive way to war the home, nice to look at but we think the central heating is the same in cost with less hassle”

“Very happy with the logs, This was my second order from Luxury Wood. Last year I bought Ash logs, which burnt well but my wife (she's the fire-maker in our family) found them rather too fat and heavy, so I was looking for a 'slimmer' log this time. I phoned to see if there was someone in the office who could give advice on which wood might produce a slimmer log but unfortunately the lady I got through to knew nothing. I guessed that Birch might result in a slimmer log so ordered that, and I was right. The only snag with Birch is that the bark falls off the majority of the logs, so if you don't use it you'd lose about 10% of your wood. I'm told it makes good kindling so I've cut it into kindling-sized pieces and I'll see how it goes.”

“Ordered a large ash pallet. Came in a good quality pallet. Delivery was made easier by Pallex group whose delivery driver had a electric pallet truck that coped with my gravel drive. The wood was tightly packed so the quantity was as advertised. One star was knocked off because of the large differences of size of each log with many being too small. I would order from this company again but would wish for more standard sized logs”
