“no delivery date confirmed, just got a call from the driver 30 mins before delivery. Wood does nt burn well , I suspect moisture to high”

“The order was delivered as scheduled . The packing protection was excellent and the kiln dried oak was neatly stacked . I would recommend this company for the quality of product and good service !”

“This is my second delivery of oak logs however, the second delivery doesn’t seem to be the same quality. I have now reached the middle section of the pallet and have found that a lot of the logs are just over 6” or 15.5 cm in length and some real thin logs. Description was for 25 cm long logs. Disappointed as it appears the small logs are being camouflaged in the middle section of the large pallet. Really disappointed as the first delivery was excellent quality.”

“Have used the company for two purchases of one ton of wood pellets. Both times the goods have been as described and of very high quality and delivery has been as arranged with no problems of getting the pallet into my garage by the carrier.”

“Waited in, delivery was three days late, logs were dirty covered with saw dust. Many were cut so thin they just burned like tinder.”

“Order of hardwood briquettes despatched promptly and delivered quickly by helpful driver. Half a dozen of the packs damaged (one very badly), but did not matter too much as the briquettes need to be broken up anyway. Perhaps should have been a warning about the very substantial expansion when burning.”

“Great wood. Ordered ash and the whole delivery was ash, the crate was packed as tight as possible, can't fault them. I used what is probably their nearest competitor last year and was disappointed, as not all the wood was ash (as it should have been) and it was not as dry (you could hear some hissing as the moisture heated up.”

“This is the first time I have used the Luxury Wood Company purchasing a large crate of bagged ash. Can I firstly say the delivery driver was excellent and very accommodating which hasn't always been the view of others in reviews I have read before purchasing. the wood itself was packed well in easy to carry bags which was ideal. I have only used it on 2/3 occasions, so still early days but to date, I am pleased with the dryness and burn quality. The only downside from my previous supplier is the actual diameter/thickness of the logs. A significant proportion of the logs are thinner than I would have expected from the photographs (which typically show 7-8 logs in each bag whereas in reality you get 10-13 in each bag). although I'm sure this will have helped in the kiln drying process, it does mean they burn through pretty quickly which I'm not used to when burning ash. If the logs were 3-5 cm more in diameter on average then I would rated them a 5”
