“Nice kiln dried oak but the pallet had been damaged at the warehouse causing logs to spill out in the delivery van and on to the road. The load was then tipping over making it difficult and dangerous to unpack.”

“I'm sorry to have to say this. I have had many deliveries from the luxury wood company and they have been very good. Unfortunately, this last pallet of logs was not up to standard. The outside areas of logs was reasonable but the middle section was very poor. In fact l can say that the middle section was more like kindling than logs. I am very disappointed with this as the pallet is quite expensive. I will have to consider what I will do in the future. Once more sorry. John”

“Third order I have received thought I would try oak again a bit disappointed with the product contains a lot of small logs cut from a decayed tree they are very light in weight and don't seem to burn very well . I think I will stick to the ash burns much better .”

“Had to return my order as the distribution firm delivered it to a property down the road. A full pallet which they then suggested I pick up in my car! Very disappointing. Managed to get a very satisfactory service from The Wood Fuel Coop.”

Dear Mary, we are sorry we had to cancel the order but your delivery address was not suitable for 7.5 toner and the depot couldn't complete the delivery as per our terms of service.

“The logs delivered were as described and burn very well so very happy with the quality. The delivery wasn't so good as even though I had stated that a small lorry would be needed, delivery was fist attempted with a very large lorry (again) and even when they returned the next day the lorry was still very large and not really suitable for narrow drives like ours.”

“I made an experiment by buying press wood heat logs in winter. The logs come in 5x poly wraps but although well wrapped on a pallet they took in moisture and fell apart about 30% of them. The good heat logs needed to be broken in half as the heat output and rate of fire was too much. For some large burners these may be fine but our small stove found them too hot. If bought and stored very dry in summer perhaps the falling about may not happen. I will only by logs in future...experiment failed. Sorry!”

“I had an issue with the previous large pallet of oak which had mould develop very quickly over the whole wood store and I assumed it must have been a second grade batch as I have not experienced this before.Anyway the person I spoke to handled the problem well and deducted £10 from my next purchase. She did say take a photo of the pallet and send if there is an issue again but that won't show the problem unless I take the photo of the wood outside the pallet which I will do if necessary again.”
