The bulb did not work and I have since returned it and am awaiting a full refund as of November 2nd 2016.

Hi Michael, Thanks for the 1 star review it's greatly appreciated although we are mortified that it was not 5 stars (Sad face Emoji). We normally ask what could we have done better to gain the elusive 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th stars! But on this occasion we would struggle as we appear to have no communication with you regarding a faulty item as our standard course of action would have been to replace? Ordered lamps over a week ago and nothing has arrived. Delivery gone wrong? Don't know, but have paid for something that I haven't received and accordingly not very happy. G McKinnon

Hi Gary, Thanks for the alarming 1 star review, sadly it appears you have yet to receive your order! it was Shipped by us 14.10.16 via standard Royal mail as per the terms and conditions on our website. And unfortunately we are all reliant on Royal Mail following through on their delivery promises. On this occasion it appear to have taken slightly longer to get to you. It may be worth contacting your local handling office to see if there is anything waiting there for you? Hi Alan, Thanks for the alarming 1 star review, sadly it appears you have yet to receive your order! it was Shipped by us 10.10.16 via standard airmail as per the terms and conditions on our website. And unfortunately we are all reliant on Royal Mail and other postal systems following through on their delivery promises. On this occasion it appear to have taken slightly longer to get to you. Hi Claire, Thanks for the alarming 1 star review, sadly it appears we have had issue with some mail items that were despatch 28.09.16. Although we do state delivery on our website as 1-5day unfortunately we are all reliant on Royal Mail following through on their delivery promise. On this occasion it appear to have taken slightly longer to get to you. Dreadful! Whether it was my mistake in ordering 12v bulbs for mains current (240v) or not, your website is not clear enough to highlight the voltage of the bulb. I checked three times trying to work out the difference in what appeared to be identical items. I now need to return to you the remaining 12v and change them for 240v. Please look at your website pages.

Good morning, Thanks for your review but we feel it’s an extremely unfair negative review. We pride ourselves on the service provided and sadly on this occasion our website does state that this lamp is NOT for domestic use? here is the description 'Golf Ball Bulb 12v 25w E14 Frosted. Lamps is 12v not for domestic use'. As much as we try to make sure ever lamp despatch is correct this is sadly not our error, however as a gesture of good will we are prepared to replace these with a standard 240v if you still require them? Please can you contact us on websales@lampco.co.uk to advise if you require replacements or a refund. Wishing you good receipt and a return to our website using your discount voucher for the negative review (Really huge sad face).

Thay haven't turned up nothing has been delivered to date so not possible to give you a review apart from very slow delivery but if thay are out of stock what can you do.

Dear Terry, Thanks for your review but we feel it’s an extremely unfair negative review. We emailed you on the 22nd August advising a lead time of 7-10 days or we could offer an alternative brand. You responded “Thanks for letting me know it’s not a problem thanks.” We then shipped your goods on the 26th August at 2pm and sent you an email confirmation. Well ahead of the planned 7-10 days as informed (Big sad face). Now a negative review when it appears we delivered a better than “Ronseal” moment! Wishing you good receipt and a return to our website using your discaount voucher for the negative review (Really huge sad face).

Hi Peter, Thanks for your review but we are sad its a negative one. As you know from previous emails you have ordered a 284mm striplight yet you require a 221mm striplight. This is the only reason the items would not fit. As per our email please return the incorrect items and request either the correct length or a full, no quibble, refund. Ordered 5 light bulbs on 15 Jan which duly arrived on 18 Jan. All was going well until I opened the box to find the wrong lamps had been sent. After a quick phone call the problem was rectified with the usual number of excuses as expected. Not bad going as this is my first ever order with this company - and would I use them again. No! And I bet you haven't got the stomach to put this feedback on your website either!

Dear Martin, Thanks for your review even though it is extremely negative. We are human here and occasionally we make mistakes especially at our busiest time of year. We like to think we should also be judged on handling our little mistake. We have shipped the replacement lamps without any fuss as any good customer service orientated Company would. As for not having the stomach...... It's on the site and we are all barrel bellied individuals :-)! I ordered a bulb for my Christmas candle bridge. At over £2 and £3 postage, I assumed I was getting more than one, but on receiving the goods it was one bulb & 2 milk chocolates( which I can't eat anyway) The next day I bought 3 identical bulbs from a local hardware shop for £1.85. When I wrote and complained I was told the 3 I had bought were probaby a cheap foreign import and wouldn't last as long as theirs a and offered to give me a refund if i sent it back. Wth postage costs this just wasn't worth my while. The bulbs I bought locally are by Konstsmide who made the bridge I own and whch is one of the better quality ones on the market. So I consder this company to be over prced and not good value for money and needless to say, I will not use them agan

We also confirmed this when you chased the order last week which you acknowledged receipt of especially after we had offered you a full refund. Good morning Iwona, Apologies for the delay in your delivery. You should have received an email from us on the 16th November confirming your goods had been despatched by Royal Mail to the address on your order confirmation. If your address does not have the access to leave a parcel the chances are the Postman has returned it to the Sorting Office. Are you able to confirm that the goods are not sitting there or you have not had a "Sorry we missed you card" and we will arrange FOC replacements to leave immediately. Apologies once again but we are at the mercy of Royal Mail. Your order was shipped the first possible working day after we received it. We look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter ASAP.
