Out of stock on my first order, oh dear! need to think again before placing my next one

Hi Ronald, Ohh that is a mean 2 star negative review (big sad face)! The website clearly states "Pre-order now", we emailed you straight away and advised we were out of stock and advised 7 days lead time to ship on the 12th April. We then shipped the goods on the 18th April and emailed you to confirm the despatch of your order. Not sure how we can be judged badly. All that said and done you now have a 12% discount voucher to visit again and the website shows if we have the items in stock it gives a number of if out of stock the message above (We are going to change that to read "Out of Stock please call/email for availability). I cancelled my order as the bulbs were out of stock and I needed them urgently. I an=m still waiting for my refund on my debit card

ordered 24th Match, Thursday at 12:06pm Order dispatched Tuesday 29th March, email received 07.17am so should have left that day. (Easter break intervenes). Now Friday Apr1, 12:22pm, still no delivery or tracking information. When I login to the site and go to my orders I get:- Unexpected Error We're sorry. An error occurred which meant the page you were trying to view cannot be displayed. We have been notified there may be a problem with the page. Very quick to take the money, Not so concerned re delivery, use slowest possible method (and probably the cheapest as it is "free". Cannot review goods as they have not arrived.

Hi Paul, Thanks for your review although we are distraught it is negative (Big Sad Face). Many apologies on the delay of your order, as you can imagine the Thursday before a long bank holiday can get very busy and unfortunately your order was delayed until Tuesday 29th and despatch as ordered by standard Royal service. This is the 24-48hr service via Royal mail, however we do advise it can take up to 5 working days to arrive. This combined with the bank holiday back log for Royal mail can cause extra delivery delays, sadly something we do not have any control over. However should you not receive your order by Tuesday 12th April, we will issue you with free of charge replacements. I have returned the item...website assured me length was 238mms but when arrived it was over 280 so could not fit... Your service lady told me the supply company had changed the size and shorter version not available..perhaps website should be corrected!!.....return postage did cost me an extra £3.30, Ron fletcher.

Package was well wrapped. Unfortunately the first bulb did not work. The second bulb worked....need now to check the other 8.

Hi Joyce, Thanks for the review we are sorry to see it's negative as only one Bell Lighting bulb has failed. The chances are the bulb is fine it's just not made contact in the holder. All lamps have a solder blob on the bottom and some are larger than other and over the years the contact in the holder gets depressed so hey presto the odd bulb does not make contact. Please make sure the power is off and with an insulated screwdriver just pull up the bottom contact. If that does not fix the issue we will of course replace your item free of charge under our no quibble guarantee.We look forward to hearing the outcome. I order 2 light bulbs on the18 January 2016 and still not been sent. I phone last Thursday the 21January 2016 and was told they would be with us Monday or Tuesday but still not got them. Would you please inform when they are going to be sent. Thank you Mr P Murphy Your order number F0070231

It appears you have ordered incorrectly the 111mm reflectors instead of the 50mm reflectors. Easily done! Please return them and we will replace them straight away. Ordered the lamps. Received an email saying one was out of stock and would we like an alternative, we said yes and ten working days later we are still awaiting the delivery with no explanation of the delay and the money being taken from our account.

After being sent a faulty product a company rep insisted it was normal to have broken glass within the tube, I contacted the manufacturer who let me know otherwise, at this point the product was replaced but the rep still insisted the product was ok and even tried to say it was the manufacturer that was mistaken.

We have checked with our technical team and this is indeed the case many of the lamps we have have small shards of glass left in the envelope in the manufacturing process. Sadly the person responding to you from the factory was not technically savvy and advised you incorrectly. We did send a replacement we look forward to receiving the one no longer required back. Bought 3 small light tubes all with exactly same spec. BUT they varied in length by 2-3mm which meant that 2 did not fit my fittings. Not sure why manufacturing should work to such poor tolerances. Not suppliers fault but a real nuisamnce

Communication with staff very good (phone) directed me to order online. post and packaging fine. Quick delivery. Product weak.....12volt/20watt bulbs produced weak/dimmer light compared to other bulbs of same rating still in ceiling panel.

Hi Brian, Thanks for your review we apologise for the dull appearance. We can only assume the lamps you had in the panel originally were either the Osram or Philips Halogen energy savers. Whilst they only use 20 watt of power they produce equal to 35 watt of light. Here is the link for the item in Osram that we think you require. I ordered 8 bulbs and one of them "blew" as soon as it was switched on and another was the wrong size fitting, 270 instead of 310 so I do not even know if it works. The plus side was that delivery was very quick and the bulbs were very cheap. Also plus was the fact that the site helps you find what you are looking for and in the age of seemingly hundreds of different bulbs that is good. So I will give this company another go despite the 2 dud bulbs.

Ordered 2 if these and had to send back as although it states length of bulb including pins is 725 mm they were slightly longer so would not fit the unit .

the service was fast and efficient and it was great that you stock rare 'pearl' light bulbs. However the 8 bulbs I received all had an orange staining across their middle. This was not described in the description and although they work fine, the bulb is visible when turned off and this orange staining is unfortunate.

Ordered replacement tubes and spot bulbs on line, both products shown as in stock, got an e mail to say the spot bulbs are out of stock, these are very common bulbs so a bit surprised. They did not say in the e mail if they were sending out the tubes separately but did say it would be 7 to 10 days for the spots. It's been 7 days now and have not been kept to date and received nothing. The money has gone from my account. .

Hi Dave, Sorry you feel let down. We did email a week ago today and the goods will be leaving tomorrow well within the quoted delivery times. As we pay the postage for very low value orders we try and send all items at once to keep our low free shipping value affordable.
