“Ordered a personalised glass token for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. I experienced quick delivery and it was presented in a nice box. However, the engraved writing on this piece was not 100% clear and looked slightly faint in some areas. Overall an average product”

“I wanted to get an original copy of The Times for my father's 70th birthday, the note on the gift offer does say that if they cannot get The Times they will get another newspaper. However, neither an email or text or any notification was given to say that I wouldn't get The Times on that date, and as the paper was gift wrapped inside the box, it wasn't until my father opened it that I saw it was not The Times. He was confused as to why he got a copy of The Evening News and I was left upset, that it would mean nothing as it is The Times that he reads..... With gifts that are given - and offered as special ideas for 70th birthdays, the levels of anticipation are high, which means the disappointment was greater and my father was sad that I was disappointed.
In future I would say that you let those paying for the gift experience to know if they are not going to get what they pay for before its too late. Awful.”
“I would have given this product 5 stars as it is a really lovely trinket box. However the engraving - which was an important part of the gift - was so indistinct that I had to take the box over to a window and turn it to the light to be able to read it properly. I had no problems with the website which I found very good and the delivery was excellent - the box being packaged very safely. I did write a review for the website but it wasn't published online !”
“I've used your firm before and was over the moon with the product and service, this time I was impressed with the turn around for delivery but the actual item I bought, I personally though it was cheap, tacky and literally put together off a home printer, not what I was expecting at all. I don't think that this item was put together by yourselves but by another firm, because of this I think there will only be certain products that, if I use yourselves again, that I would buy off your site.”
“Purchased an afternoon tea at Hanbury Manor with a glass of bubbly for 8 people, which turned out to be sparkling wine, not champagne... bit misleading. I bought this for 8 girlfriends as it was my 50th & wanted to treat my friends so was embarrassed when as soon as we got there the waiters tried to 'upsell' to include champagne & unlimited food, making it feel like I had gone for the cheap option. Apart from this, it was a lovely experience.”

“LOVED the idea. Was really pleased with the site. I didn't receive a lot of emails about the order being processed/shipped etc, whilst on one-hand it is nice not be inundated, on the other, I wasn't entirely confident that it was all happening.
Sadly, not so happy with the product - the pictures on the site implied that the jigsaw would be from the front page of an old newspaper, what we received was the classified page with no photos and thus not quite so obviously for a specific date, even though it is printed there. It also makes the puzzle quite difficult and as it is intended for a 79 year old woman (evidenced by the date we selected!), it is not going to be quite the lovely surprise we intended. Clearly her "birth" is not going to be listed on the day in question and we were looking forward to reading what was in the news at that time.”

“I was very pleased with my purchases when they arrived. I thought my order placed on 3rd December was in plenty of time for Christmas gifts. But I was concerned the items hadn't been received on the 17th. Customer service assured me items would be received in next few days. They did arrive in time for Christmas just!!! Mid day on the 24th. I would rate the goods higher if it hadn't been for the worry caused by delivery wait.”

“My gift was supposed to be dispatched in 7-10 days but unfortunately took a month to arrive. It did arrive before Christmas thank goodness so at least I didn't have to buy an alternative gift. I would haven given a poor review but for the staff on the helpline who were very nice and redeemed the situation.

“I ordered a 60th wedding anniversary present for my parents, the present did eventually arrive but not until after the anniversary date which was a disappointing, as I did not receive any communication that this would happen. The present itself was good and well received by my parents.”
I have looked into this and you ordered on 2nd November. The product was on a 2 to 3 working day Despatch on standard delivery which is an estimated time of a further 2/3 days. The anniversary was on the 4th so you can probably understand why it did not arrive on time.
