Honestly, it was so simply wrapped, with cheap "ribbon " and no tag so I had to go out and buy a gift tag, I wasn't happy as really didn't have time to make an errand, the reason I paid for gift wrapping in the first place.”

“I recently ordered a personalised wine stopper from , I believe now, a sister company. The engraving was so fine I needed a magnifying glass in direct sunlight to read it. I contacted the company and was told the engraving had to be so finely done do as not to damage the metal. Then I saw that The Gift Experience was offering what looked like an identical wine stopper a bit more expensive so thought the engraving may be better. It had the exact same problem so I now have two wine stoppers which to most people will look plain ie not engraved.
Sadly I cannot recommend either company.”

Unfortunately, as our customer service team outlined we can only engrave to a certain depth so as not to damage the product and this can mean the engraving is subtle but we still love the effect of it.
I am not sure which company you purchased the first one from but I cannot speak about their views on this, as you have not purchased anything with our sister company either.

Unfortunately, there can be unforeseen delays in the Royal Mail network which we have no control over, I know how frustrating it is to be waiting on a delivery and I can only apologise once again for any upset or inconvenience caused.
“I ordered a book "Remember When" as a gift for our friend's Golden Wedding Anniversary and was really disappointed. The text on the presentation plate attached to the front page of the book hadn't been centred and it looked awful when you opened the book. It hit me straight away and as centring text in this day and age is easy it is not what I expected; for the money, I expected much better and this ruined the gift. Also, the gift box is over-rated. It is a plain black box with gold writing on the front and unlike a picture I had seen (and I can’t now find where) was not gold lined. I don't think it adds to the gift although does offer a degree of protection to the book when in transit. TGE issued a new plaque as soon as I notified them but I have had to send the replacement to my friends so they can take out the original plaque and replace it with the new one. Takes the edge off the gift.”

I am sorry you didn't feel the gift wrap was appropriate, our team do always try to tailor the gift wrap colours to an occasion however there was no mention of a wedding on your order and so this wasn't possible for your particular order.
“I purchased a personalised compact mirror for my friend's birthday. I paid £5 extra to make sure it was delivered on time and it came a few days earlier. The website is easy to use and navigate. The compact it's however does not appear to be of the quality it looks on the website. The photo I had chosen for the front looks nice. “The gifts ordered were not as advertised in the first instance - Gift mugs were wrongly printed and despite obviously being a silver wedding present, they were inappropriately wrapped in black wrapping paper.
On contacting the suppliers, they agreed to replace the misprinted mug at no extra cost so I was eventually well satisfied. Good job I'd left plenty of time before the actual silver wedding date,”

“I bought a biscuit jar for my friend's dog ready to put homemade bone-shaped biscuits in for him. It is a lovely jar but I am disappointed with the way "biscuit" is written.
