“Was searching for a good quality daypack and having decided on the Deuter ACT Trail 30 found this company selling this item in the colour I wanted at a great price. Dispatch was fast and item arrived well packed. I will certainly be visiting their website when considering future purchases as I prefer to buy from the smaller retailers. As an aside the rucksack is a fabulous bit of kit which is well designed with some neat touches.”

“In the good old days I used to enjoy visiting the on day trips from North Cumbria. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The shop sells my favourite brands ie Arcteryx, Patagonia, Black Diamond. However, being able to buy online has ensured my outdoor wardrobe is being kept up to date.”

“All the staff are really helpful and friendly, and they have a fantastic range of products. I initially came into the shop for a boot fitting, but they didn't have my size so specifically ordered a pair for me which was really helpful and called me the day they placed the order and when they arrived at the shop. The lady who did my fitting was fantastic and knew exactly what shoes would fit me, and thoroughly went through all my needs with no rush. The Epicentre is probably my favourite outdoor shop in the whole Lake District and I happily order online if I'm not visiting for a while.”

“Excellent product choice and service. Superspeedy delivery. The package arrived within 24 hrs of placing order. I was pleasantly surprised to find a lovely Lake district National Park sew-on patch inside my package. A very nice touch. Thank you. We have also visited the Ambleside store on our regular walking holidays and always received great customer service.”

“A brilliant shop for premium outdoor gear and a must visit when in Ambleside. Web purchases are always processed immediately and received when advised. My most recent purchase - Scarpa Mescalito approach shoes were a bargain and significantly cheaper than all other retailers offering my size and colourway. The Lake District badge enclosed in the box was a lovely touch too. 😊”
