“On Wednesday myself and two friends all bought hoka boots in Ambleside two of us were served by Sophie. We were completely and utterly blown away by the level of service and the knowledge that Sophie had . Having had trouble with my feet and knees surgery also a daughter who has a had foot surgery the advice that we were given surpassed anything that even drs, surgeons etc have had what a absolute joy Sophie was and Ian incredible asset to your shop. Thank you so much”

“The best serious outdoor kit shop I have found. I'm sure being centrally located in the beautiful Lake District helps but the staff are consistently friendly, helpful and, most importantly, knowledgeable. They don't just try to sell you what they have, they take time and trouble to discuss what's the best solution for you. My son was over from his home in Canada and he must have tried on every boot on the shop before, with the help of a great measuring service and experienced advice, he settled on a high-end pair that are still doing great service in the wilds of British Columbia. Great over the phone advice and online service, too.”
