“The best serious outdoor kit shop I have found. I'm sure being centrally located in the beautiful Lake District helps but the staff are consistently friendly, helpful and, most importantly, knowledgeable. They don't just try to sell you what they have, they take time and trouble to discuss what's the best solution for you. My son was over from his home in Canada and he must have tried on every boot on the shop before, with the help of a great measuring service and experienced advice, he settled on a high-end pair that are still doing great service in the wilds of British Columbia. Great over the phone advice and online service, too.”
