“I recently purchased the “ light line Mountain Equipment jacket “ online from the Epicentre and was delighted with the service I received , it could not have been better . I like the Epicentre’s business commitment and outlook and feel good about buying from them . I shall certainly visit them when in the Lake District .”

“Purchased online. Goods received as described, promptly excellent value for quality kit. Visiting the Epicentre (pre-pandemic) was always a joy. staff always friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about their kit and professional. Have never felt pressured to buy and always have confidence in their advice. I hope that this lovely shop can survive these horrendous times. Without local shops like the Epicentre, with knowledgeable staff us customers would be greatly disadvantaged and miss the people we've come to regard as friends. X”

“Good sale prices, quick delivery, some product packaging a bit worn so may have been around store for a while but all seems fine. Separately, the range of Arcteryx product instore earlier this year has reduced significantly; this is a shame because Epicentre was a good place for a higher quality group of branded products but it now seems to be edging downwards to a more middle of the road range.”

Thanks for your positive comments. I'm sorry our in store range last year wasn't as good as previously but, due to Covid issues many of our suppliers struggled to supply their range on time. We have high hopes that 2021 will eventually bring a much better shopping experience.

“Always love visiting the Epicentre when we’re in the Lakes. Shopping via internet feels very reliable because we know the shop and the lovely friendly staff within. My purchase was ordered on New Years Eve and arrived the following Tuesday, neatly and efficiently packaged and labelled.”

“I purchased two icebreaker merino garments and they did not disappoint. Merino wool is lightweight and yet warm, great for base layers either out exploring or at home in the winter. These merino icebreaker garments do not need daily washing which is great for the environment too!”
