“We visited this store twice in two days, looking very specifically for a firm mattress, a point made very clear on each occasion to the sales manager. He then proceeded on each occasion to tell us our choice was not only wrong but damaging to our health, a conclusion he arrived at based on his twenty years of experience selling beds. I literally couldn't get him to stop trying to convince us. I'm sure the individual concerned will read this and tell me his views on firm mattresses are correct - since he talked himself out of a sale, I hope that's reward enough.”

Hello Tim. Thanks for visiting our store and sharing your experience with us. When customers are considering a firm and soft mattress we try and explore their choice a bit more vigorously. Mattresses that are too firm or too soft can lead to discomfort, back issues and a poor nights rest. We share our knowledge and past experience with new customers and give them as much information to help them reach a decision. On this occasion we are sorry you chose not to buy from us but our door is open if you’d like to revisit.

“Kind professional and understanding sales service. Delivery as booked with knowledgeable staff who were professional, careful and friendly. Bed is very comfortable and of great quality. Small query after delivery and all resolved promptly, making me feel understood and not a problem. Would definitely recommend.”

“The delivery was good. Pleasant, polite and efficient men. The bed is good and the mattress comfortable. However from the start the mattress smells strongly musty and of damp. This remains the case after one week despite airing with windows wide open and no bedding. We were not warned about this problem at all although we now find that it is openly referred to on line. It still smells af0ter 1 week and unless this is eradicated very soon we will require it to be removed as it is not fit for purpose. We have other family who have recently purchased new mattresses and none had this experience.”

“Excellent service and exceptional value. I bought a mattress from here a year ago for my daughter at the university, it was such a good mattress she wanted one for home, so a year later I returned to buy another, the owner remembered me and what I bought and kept it for me to collect a week later!”
