Arrived a few moments before 9.30 and watched through the window while staff finished their tea. Fair enough not opening time.... however once the doors were opened staff disappeared out the side door for a smoke. When finally acknowledged i asked for help choosing a mattress and was greeted with 'you can read can't you?' Not good customer service i would say! I have shopped here previously and spent a lot of money, I won't be coming back.

***DO NOT BUY A BED OR MATTRESS FROM HERE!!*** REALLY REALLY disappointed with the customer service here. The mattress I wanted was in stock, all paid for, had to call 3 times to get a delivery arranged, and isn't being delivered for 10 days. Shocking given its just sat at the shop. The shop wanted to deliver when they had another delivery my way, seemingly to cut delivery costs, but if I had known this was the case I would have gone elsewhere. Happy to take your money but not happy to deliver ASAP. Update. Absolutely DO NOT buy a mattress from here. I received a rude and nasty call from Bed and Mattress Centre shortly after making this review, telling me that they did not want my business unless I 'moderated my review'. Because I refused to remove or edit my Facebook review I was told that they think its best I receive a refund. They are unwilling to accept any criticism and the gentleman I spoke to, Matthew, was rude, insulting and very unwilling to take on board my feelings. So now I have been refunded and they have refused my business because of my opinion on their customer service. If you have any negative feedback, beware, they will try and make you feel like you are the problem!! I would suggest you visit somewhere else where the company will do what they can for you. This is not that company!! They are more interested in their "visible reputation" than actually providing good customer service.

I had tried the mattress over 4 times in a period off 2 weeks so I could be sure what mattress to buy. I was told it’s the soft & it felt soft. But sadly that’s were it ends. Waited 5 weeks for delivery then to my horror the mattress was hard, it’s been 8 months & still no change. Followed manufacturer instructions on turning, I had contacted store who wasn’t that interested, actually quoted there display was over 2 years old, so the could be why it’s soft !! Thanks for not saying that at time off our purchase. The manufacturer had replied 2 times to my email but not the bed & mattress centre. This is the 3 rd mattress I brought from this company this being a Hillary Denvey dragons den, good quality mattress but missed sold to me. It’s know where near soft. You need better after care. Not replying is 0% care

"Made contact about my faulty mattress. It came with a 5 year warranty however 13 months into this au have to pay 20% of the original price for a new one ! No mention of this when purchased either. It gets better though apparently it's my fault as my bed slats are wrong ! No mention of needing specific slats when ordering the mattress. Told I should have purchased a bed the same as the company owner. The defect is the mattress failing from head to toe so not even the way the slats run. To make it worse they do not even want the mattress back to check the fault and see what's gone wrong. Never before seen such bad customer services from any retailer. 5 year warranty is a waste of the paper it is written on. Never use this company again.

We were disappointed to receive a one start rating from this customer given that we replaced his mattress, which was not deemed to be faulty, with a new one for a small warranty charge. The customer has since complained that his second mattress is faulty and on this occasion an independent inspection has been carried out by FIRA, who found no fault with the mattress. The customer has reneged on paying for the Inspection fee despite agreeing to do so. Furthermore he has succeeded in acquiring 2 mattresses having only paid for one. We are satisfied that the other reviews on our website reflect our Company more accurately.

I have bought a lot of beds from this firm over the last few years and akways git excellent service but now they are using couriers to deliver this is the last one. It took nearly 4 weeks fir delivery and when the bed cameit was just left in the middle of the bedroom fllor for me to unpack, which was always done by the men before nad rubbish taken away. Iwas on myown as my partner was in hospital after having a stroke and this was anear impossible task for me
