“Swinnertons had the Shimano parts that were proving difficult to get. The price was okay too. I gave them 4 stars as they were slightly slower than others shops in getting them to me and I hadn’t seen any advice they were on their way - they turned up the same day I was thinking of chasing them. If they were race day spares I’d have been pretty anxious..”

“I was looking for a really good all aluminum rim brake rear wheel. I decided to give Campagnolo a look. I have been a Shimano man all my cycling life but since they seem to be moving away from all aluminum wheels to carbon fiber I went with a campy Zonda rear wheel and I was not disappointed.”

“Order a base layer socks and bibshorts, brand Q35.5 unfortunately the bibshorts I ordered didn't come and had to pick something else so disappointed in that respect but delivery was quick once order was finally confirmed, rate Q36 5 10/10”

“I ordered a stem and saddle but the saddle was later deemed out of stock and delivery not due for 5 weeks. Instead of sending the post separately, they did nothing. However, when I phoned to question this, they acted promptly and I received the post as promised. Generally, I find the service very good but is somewhat behind Merlin, who I often use.”

“Blatantly sent me wrong item (2 loose bearings …should be a full maxhit headset at £130+)…and been stalling sending out headset with excuses. Very disappointing ,use to order quite often from them…not anymore!”

“Great service and great shop but please sort out your shipping. Why is it £3 for one item with Royal Mail then it suddenly doubles to £6 when you add two items to the basket. My basket came to around £12 and the shipping would have been 50% of the overall cost. Unfortunately wasn't looking to spend £50 for free postage. Either way a great source for bike stuff, just a shame about the postage.”

“After enquiring by phone with 2 separate people at Swinnerton we were assured the price included the connecting lead . This was not the case. When we queried this we were told it was obvious from the discounted priced that the lead wasn't included. It then took nearly a week to advise us which of two leads we did need before we could order. We chose not to use Seinnerton on this occasion as we felt we had been ill advised in our original purchase. Shame because we like to support smaller businesses but staff need to have accurate product information to pass to customers.”
