“Do not use... We were greeted in Lanzarote with our name on a sign as expected....however, this also had other peoples names on and were told that the taxis were waiting outside and that we had to wait for all other guests even though we booked a private taxi! Once everyone came through we were led to the taxis that were not wiaitng and they were in fact over 30 minutes late which is even more annoying when you can see the normal taxis waiting outside the terminal so this would be by far the best option for anyone visiting lanzarote and to avoid suntransfers! When the minivan arrived for 2 people, it then wouldn't start and a further delay was had!”

“!! do not use !! I booked and paid for a transfer for the 14th August, 4pm! I received a phone call at 10.30pm on the 2nd August stating our taxi driver were waiting for us at Paphos airport.. I’ve put a dispute with the firm which has been ignored. Spoke to staff on the phone and by the live chat and both were rude, no remorse and ignorant. Taken our money and now no transfer for our wedding stay in Cyprus in a weeks time !”

“Book sun transfer in my trip to Dublin (both ways from and to the airport). To sumarize things that went wrong: 1) there was no driver waiting for me. Have to contact them both times to locate the driver - both times the driver was late and only showed up after I called them. After flying for so long/having early morning flight I would appreciated the drivers being on time. 2) the driver from Dublin airport did not actually worked for company. He did not even know who they were or how I booked them. 3) Wrote a complain (as the person who spoke on the phone trying to locate the driver literally said I can complain all I want) and got a standard apology letter - no proper explanation whatsoever. All in all, I was deeply disappointed in the service as it did caused me unnecessary stress and this is not what I have paid for.”

“terrible company, order there service and realized I booked it for the wrong time and cancelled my service right away , and they still would not refund my €82.44 as there was not 48 hours notice even tho I had just booked this and the transfare was for the next day”

“We arrived in Dubrovnik airport on Tuesday 23/7/‘19 at 15.25. No driver showed up to collect us. We tried to contact the company but to no avail. We paid for collection and return to airport but we had to pay for 2 taxis to get us to and from our hotel. This company does not deserve a star rating because they are completely unreliable and impossible to contact when things go wrong. They are to be avoided at all costs. Plenty of other companies provide transfers from the airport in Dubrovnik my advice is to pick one of them.”

“We were given instruction at last minute in the airport for new meeting place in another terminal. Waited for driver 30-40 minutes before driver finally arrived. Dismissed himself stating he would return and never did. Ended up having to take a cab after our credit card was charged a month before. Tried repeatedly to make contact with someone for assistance; got nowhere!!”

“Excellent transfer method from Faro to Olas De Agua in July 19. Driver was waiting on arrival and had an immaculate car (Audi 6 estate) well air conditioned and smooth ride. Likewise on return driver was early and waited pationately until we were ready to depart. Both drivers were friendly and courteous”

“BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE AVOID AVOID AVOID This company will willing take your money in advance and not provide the service. Tried for over an hour to find the driver at the airport and tried calling numerous times, No luck (international number calling from Singapore on a global roaming phone) No driver. Sent an email as soon as we reached the hotel (must contact immediately or no refund). Must wait 20 days for a response and then of course no refund. Lost our money due to no fault of ourselves. Learnt a good lesson if this company can not provide you with a local number for your transport you are in trouble. Make sure if you are checking TripAdvisor you go back quite a few pages as some of the reviews are along way back but only a week old with all the same issues as we experienced. Its sad that you waste and hour of your holiday being stressed on what should be the start of a great time. If travelling to Singapore Taxis and Maxi Taxis are readily available downstairs at the taxi ranks brilliant clean quick service for a lot less.”

“We have used Suntransfers in Cyprus and the service was excellent with a top “premium” transfer so we booked them for our transfers from Faro to Vilamoura again in a Premium vehicle. The driver was very grumpy and did not give much communication, probably due to the poor state of the vehicle. Major damage down one side and what can only be described as a clapped out builders van. Dirty inside and no air conditioning or privacy glass, a really poor vehicle I have to say. We are being collected on Sunday morning so we’ll see you if the vehicle is of better quality!”

“If you want to reach your destination, do NOT book with themt. It will cost you $200 more on arrival because they will not be there with the proper car. I booked a transfer from CDG airport, and they send me a small car that does not fit my family or bags. the driver was NOT able to speak english at the end he left me and went away. I had to take a private shuttle on my own after one hour of struggle. they also refused to refund me the moneyvI paid.”

“Driver was late (30 mins) could not find our villa even with the grid ref. Unable to contact Suntransfers by phone/internet or live chat to change the pick up location on departure day and it ended up us getting 4 taxi,s at our cost even though we had paid to be picked up. Will not use or recommend this company. Lets hope they post this on the web site.”

“I arrived in Lisbon airport and NO ONE was waiting. I was assisted by 2 people who worked in the airport as I was in a wheelchair. We paraded up and down the line MANY times ( 20 minutes to be exact) looking for my name and HOPING someone would appear....THEY DID NOT! I did not have access at the time to a cell phone so I was unable to call them. I took a taxi home and as I was arriving my husband was on the telephone with suntransfers. They wanted to know where I was!! I asked them to please refund my $$ as they did not provide the service. To make a long story short, after about 3 weeks they emailed saying since I didn't not call them I was not entitled to a refund.They said they checked with the driver that was to pick me up and he was there!! (Even though I have 2 witness that say he was NOT) I was not entitled to a refund. This must be a Portuguese franchise and here SERVICE and making the customer happy is NOT a priority. They will say ANYTHING TO weasel out of refunding the money! The taxi ride was cheaper than the money they STOLE from me. They nicked and dimed me by emailing me several times to ask for more money for various reasons (area was farther, car was larger). Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to pay. Do yourself a favor and get taxi or uber to your destination. Taxis are so inexpensive in Portugal and there are many lined up and they will estimate the fee before u get in. BAD EXPERIENCE I WILL NOT REPEAT”

“Absolute shambles expected the taxi i paid for waiting when I go off the plane - my name was amongst 7 others on a board for Hoppa ?!,! I PAID Suntransfers then got lied to. Woman told us 5 mins that turned into 15 which turned into 25 THEN because we kept asking they called a private taxi not using these again and we travel from Faro airport A LOT”

“Booked a return trip from Faro airport. Collected from the airport ok, but the return trip was a total disaster. The driver didn’t turn up, the company didn’t contact me, and after multiple telephone calls they told me to take a taxi as the driver was running so late that we would miss our flight. Upon getting home and contacting SunTransfers regarding this, they took 26 days to reply and said they wouldn't issue any refund from the cost of booking. Customer service was not mannerly, came across very contrite and arrogant and said they would not review my case further unless more information came to light, which is pathetic. They made up some lies about ‘administrative error’ and used that as the reason behind not refunding part of the transfer cost. Shambolic service... terrible customer service ... horrendous customer satisfaction policy ... they take your money without problem but if they don’t fulfil your two trips they decide to keep the money and not issue any refund. It’s tantamount to stealing!! Will never use again ... BE VERY WARY. Book a hirecar!”
