“No one waiting with name sign at arrival, after ca 10 mins I happen to hear someone read my name from his phone, eventually they arrange a taxi from the normal taxi queue, a taxi van. Before departure I wanted to change pick-up time as I was checked in and only brought carry on but they have a idiotic sheeple policy of minimum two hours plus transfer time and refusing to change it, laughable service, never again!! Alexander”

“What an absolute joke of a company. Booked a cab for a 4am arrival at Larnaca airport, only to get there abc cab was nowhere to be found despite having a confirmation number and with money taken out of my account. Long story short, called a very unhelpful person on the contact number who couldn't find the cab I booked but 'helpfully' suggested I catch a cab from the airport abc you guessed it, pay again for the service, which I'd already paid for. Despite numerous calls and email to the useless company, I'm yet to get a refund or an explanation as to why I was left stranded at the airport at that time of the morning. I would avoid this bunch of fakes and thieves if I were you.”

“Suntransfers - Disaster. Going to and from Pula Airport. On arrival (9:30 at night)no driver. Contacted the emergency number (in the UK - no local number given). They eventually rang back (presumably hoping the problem had gone away) to tell me that I had already been collected!!! 45 mins later the driver eventually showed up and made numerous excuses none of which I believed. Did not know where he was going - had to use the Sat Nav on his phone. I contacted Suntransfers to ensure that this would not happen on the way back. They assured me! Car due at 9:00 am to bring us to the airport. No sign. I contacted UK again. Eventually, they rang back to say that he was there but this was yet another excuse. At 9:00 we saw the car arrive (only one other car arrived at the hotel during this period). The driver confirmed that he was from Suntransfers - he did not say any other word during the 40 minute trip. He drove very fast and with loud music. No appology from Head Office as yet. Needless to say, we will not be using this company again. Allen H”

“Pre paid Cancun to Puerto Morelos. Searched high and lie for driver in the area we were told..no show. Rang the number given to us. No record of us or voucher number. Their response that driver was there not unexpected..”

“Booked and prepaid 2 taxis from Düsseldorf weeze airport and they didn't show up was stranded at the airport with 8 children .. absolutely shocking customer service!!!!!”

“Arrived ontime went to arrivals no driver,waited over an hour still no driver, so absolute rubbish,would not recomend to anybody,eventualy got a local,taxi at airport,very good and not as expensive”

“Feedback for Sun Transfers reference SUNTR_CX0265 16/02/2015 We have used Sun Transfers in the past, from Barcelona and Piraeus (twice) and been very satisfied. However, for CX0265, from the Harbourfront Cruise Terminal in Singapore, the driver failed to appear. We searched high and low for somebody with a board bearing our name without success. There is only one exit from the cruise ship into the terminal and either my husband or I was there all the time. If, as the company claims, the driver had been where he should have been and at the correct time, there is no way we could possibly have missed him. Whilst they do provide 24 hour contact numbers. they forget to mention that these numbers are in Spain whereas we were in Singapore! I did try to telephone from my mobile without success and nobody at the Information Desk (or anywhere else for that matter) was able to help us contact them. They claim to have tried to contact me, but the only missed call indicated on my mobile was at 9.25 by which time we had given up waiting for them and organised a taxi for a third of the price! It is quite clear to us that by not providing the service for which we had paid, the company did not fulfil its obligations to us, but they refuse to offer us a refund or any kind of apology. We will never use Sun Transfers again.”

“WARNING ! DO NOT use this company. My wife is disabled and cannot walk so prior to booking I emailed this company to say if I booked with them it must be a car and not a minivan. Suntransters emailed me to say they would provide a taxi so I went ahead and booked our transfers with them. The first journey was OK but on our return journey they sent a minivan. I telephoned their office and they said they reserve to change vehicles depending on availability. To get my wife into the minivan the driver, the hotel bellboy and myself had to manhandle her inside the vehicle, and when we reached the airport the driver and myself had to manhandle her out of the minivan. When I got home I contacted the company but the did not want to know. BEWARE of this company ! !”

“RIP-OFF! After paying prior to my trip the driver and car were not at the airport. We waited for 30 minutes and had to get another taxi! The other reviews seem fake.”

“I advise that you only use this company if you are going to a well known hotel. We booked a transfer to/from an apartment a few kilometres out of Tavira in Portugal, on a dirt track. Once we reached Tavira the driver had no idea where to go. He drove around for about an hour, asking people. I had brought written directions with me, so in the end I used these to tell him the way. We had an early morning return flight. We called Sun transfers a few days before as we were worried they would not arrive. We were told that if they did not arrive at the booked time, we could book another taxi and they would issue a refund. However, as the taxi was due at 4 am, it was not an option for us to take this risk - how would we get a taxi at that time of the morning. We arranged for directions to be emailed to Sun transfers in an attempt to ensure they found us, however we eventually cancelled and booked a local taxi as we had no confidence they would arrive. We were only able to get through to the UK office and they did not seem to take our concerns seriously. Despite the fact that we had tried to cancel 48 hours before the return transfer, we were advised they would not return any money. The driver out was a nice guy, but not competent.”

“Had to cancel shortly after their 48 hour free cancellation period, due to an accident. Notified them immediately. They refused to contemplate any partial refund even though they were saved the trouble of travelling to the pick-up and were given substantial warning. What was really galling was their peurile efforts at justifying this.”

“Avoid at all cost very unreliable, I like you looked at the reviews and found not one negative review, booked a transfer for my teenage daughter as she was travelling back to England alone and I assumed I could trust them to collect her and take her to the airport. They didn't turn up and when my daughter rang them she was told there was nothing they could do and she would have to make her own way to the airport. This is totally unacceptable I booked the transfer because I didn't want my teenage daughter getting into any old taxi, I had emailed them many times explaining that they need to be on time as she was travelling back alone. This company makes all kinds of promises just to make you feel at ease and book them then they just leave you waiting for them. If my daughter hadn't have telephoned them then she would have missed her flight. After the terrible service I received I went back over the reviews and out of hundreds of reviews there wasn't a single negative which on reflection I think is strange no company can get all positive reviews. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BOOK WITH AND AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL, I BOOKED A TRANSFER BACK FROM BARCELONA CITY TO BARCELONA AIRPORT FOR SUNDAY 20 JULY TO BE PICKED UP AT 10.30. I SENT AT LEAST 5 EMAILS EXPLAINING THAT IT WAS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND SHE WAS TRAVELLING BACK TO THE AIRPORT ALONE,SO TO MAKE SURE SHE IS PICKED UP ON TIME, I WAS ASSURED THAT EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER. MY DAUGHTER TELEPHONED ME TO SAY THAT THE DRIVER WAS STILL AT THE AIRPORT AND SHE HAS BEEN TOLD TO MAKE HER OWN WAY TO THE AIRPORT THEY TELEPHONED HER AT 11.10 (KNOWING SHE HAD TO BE AT AIRPORT FOR 12). I TELEPHONED THE NUMBER AND WAS TOLD THE DRIVER IS DELAYED AND SHE NEEDS TO MAKE HER OWN WAY THERE. I EXPLAINED SHE IS A YOUNG GIRL IN A STRANGE CITY WITH VERY LITTLE MONEY NO CARD AND THAT IS WHY I BOOKED A TRANSFER AND THAT I DIDN'T WANT HER TO GET INTO A STRANGE TAXI WHEREAS I BOOKED WITH THEM SO I ASSUMED SHE WOULD BE PICKED UP AND SAFE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON DIDN'T CARE, SHE SAID IF SHE DOESN'T GET A TAXI THERE NOW THEN SHE WILL MISS HER FLIGHT AND THERES NOTHING THEY CAN DO. THIS COMPANY LIES THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN LEAVE YOU STRANDED. PLEASE DO NOT USE”

“We were a group of 14 who really doubt the many positive reviews this company has got. Our experience is that this is not a professional or reliable company at all. I won't tire you of all the details of a very disappointing experience where we were stranded at Barcelona airport to be picked up by individual taxis. The last 5 of us finally got and paid our own taxi. It caused true mess. The explanations we were offered obviously weren't true. I guess this can happen in really unlucky cases, but what's really disappointing is that the help desk does not answer any of my emails. Their strategy seems to be to ignore us.”

“I have traveled internationally extensively for over 40 years. I can never recall having such an incompetent handling of my airport to hotel transfer as I have with Sun Transfers in Amsterdam. While they did admit they "their local office made an administrative error" and they did provide a full refund for their no-show, it nevertheless caused extreme inconvenience to me and my colleagues. No apology or refund can adequately compensate me for such pain. I would avoid this firm and use others that have a more reliable track record.”
