When I went to renew my policy I found that it was with the old registration plate. I tried to change this on-line to my personalised plate for the same vehicle but without success. I contacted your office by phone on the 26.02.16 and explained my problem to your representative. She took a note of the new plate and said that she would alter it. I have just been on to your customer lounge and found that nothing has been done. Would you please contact me to say when you will correct my documentation. I HAVE BEEN WITH YOU FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND NOT MADE A CLAIM. I JUST HOPE THAT IF I DO BREAK DOWN THAT I WILL GET A BETTER RESPONSE.

AWFUL SITE. COULD NOT FIND MY DETAILS AT ALL.. HAD TO GO BACK TO EMAIL TO GET THEM. NO CONFIRMATION WHEN I DID RENEW.

Have had a number of problems when renewing the policy and unfortunately despite many phone calls to their customer services they have not sorted out the issues.

I purchased my breakdown recovery service using "compare the market" website and expected to qualify for the Meerkat movies offer. It has since been pointed out to me that this is not a qualifying product. I have revisited the site and this now appears to be clearly stated. Very disappointed.

I am still awaiting feedback from Stuart as to why one of the staff told me to wait until after 1.2.16 as you will be changing conditions and my policy could be cheaper than last year when this now appears to be incorrect. I had telephoned in January to renew my policy with a 10% discount and this is when I was advised to call back after 1.2.16. I await your response.

These reviews are for the website not the actual service provided by Start Rescue - they send an email request to review the day after ourchase so no-one is reviewing the actual breaskdown service, just the experience of using the website. This feels really dishonest!

Brokedown today in the usual British weather, the engine got wet. Start rescue wasted my time and kept me on the phone for 30minutes to give me a quote for recovery for 186 POUND, apparently if you break down due to water you are not covered avoid this company at all costs. Cost me 50 to get recovered by local company.

Shockingly bad customer service. I was in a car accident through no fault of my own and my car was written off two months before my policy ended. I Purchased a car that was 1 year older than my previous car which meant that there was a higher premium. Start Rescue charged me the entire years premium despite me only having two months remaining on my policy. When questioned about it, they simply said that there was nothing that could be done as the system does not allow it any other way.

My husband purchased a policy for me using my own car details, my own email address using his own debit card, but his name has come up as the policy holder, Im a bit unsure of whether in the even of needing recovery this will cause a problem.

A poorly designed website with many links either not operational or unhelpful. The form one is encouraged to print out for reference in the vehicle has a font that is so small that it is difficult to read and apparently has no phone number for contacting in the event of breakdown. The offered App may well overcome some of these problems but is of no use to someone without a Smart Phone.
