“I was with Start recuse a few year's, I was throughly happy, I had to call them out once, they were with me in about 1/2 hour, I got a flat battery, he charged it up and said for me to get a new battery the next day, and said if I had the same problem in the morning, i should ring them again! I was impressed”

“I have been let down very badly by a nationwide breakdown and recovery service twice in the last 6 months and decided it was time for a change. After reading a very good report about Start Breakdown Recovery in the Which magazine I studied their web site then phoned them. Two very helpful representatives gave me further information about their services. I decided that the Personal cover suited me the best and upon comparing the quote with the competition, I decided to put my business with Start. I look forward to hopefully not using them, but if I do, I have confidence that they will provide a good service using the mobile app.”

“Very efficient admin/telephone service. Also, called out rescue following a serious puncture and 3rd party local recovery arrived promptly and conveyed me and vehicle to local garage for new tyre to be fitted.”

“I've been with startand rescue for over 10.years and have always been happy with their service however few weeks ago my engine overheated so I had to stop and call them out at Knutsford service station they came out within the hour and said there wasn't enough water in the radiator so the man topped it up with water and tested it and it was OK to drive home about an hour later they rang me to say I would have to pay£121 because it was my fault for not maintaining the vehicle.I told them I wasn't happy and appealed but was unsuccessful so I had to pay so just bear this in mind before you take out a policy”

“I've not used Start Rescue but my son has and he thought their service was excellent. His car wouldn't start and Start Rescue sent out a recovery vehicle. His battery needed replacing. The recovery guy arrived within an hour, got the car started and escorted him to a car battery replacement centre (just in case) where it was replaced. 👍🙏👍”
